    About The Package

Gangotri and Yamunotri are the most prominent dhams to visit on a Chardham yatra. Gangotri is the main place from where the holy River Ganga originates. This religious town of the Hindu followers is located on the sets of Bhagirathi River. In Gangotri, there is a temple of Goddess Ganga- a shrine situated at an altitude of 3100 metres above the sea level. From the initial point, the river is called by the name of Bhagirathi. Later, from Devprayag, it gets called by the name of Ganga as it meets with the Alaknanda River. The Ganga River actually originates from Gaumukh, which is a glacier situated at the point of origination. You can trek to this glacier, which is 19 km from Gangotri, and have an experience that is religious and full of adventure at the same time. You may also check out the itinerary of our Chardham yatra package from Bangalore to get an idea of how your next tour is going to look like.

Kedarnath is situated at one of the most remote locations of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath temple is the holy shrine of Lord Shiva, housing one of the 12 jyotirlingas that are present in India.

It is believed that the Kedarnath Temple was initially built by the Pandava brothers. And, it was later restored by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. Before entering into the temple, you will find a giant Nandi Bull statue. According to the Hindu mythology, one should always pay respect to the bull before entering into the temple. Tushar's 11 days trip to Char Dham

My char dham trip was booked by KrishnaHolidays which included taxi, stays and food(breakfast and dinner only). - 3/6 hotels were very bad.(water issue in first hotel Chauhan Himdarshan in Barkot, electricity issue and worst room services in second hotel Narayana in Uttarkashi Maneri, again worst room services and unhygienic food worse than street food in third hotel Ashoka palace in Sitapur, following hotels were good in Badrinath, ok in shrinagar and best in rishikesh). - 12 seater tempo Traveller was good but driver Rambrij's behavior at times was very aggressive which couldn't develop a good relation with him in a 11 days long trip. - The agency support staff was responding when required which was good enough but they somewhere failed miserably to check the initial hotels which made 50% of our experience bad. Thanks to the beauty of Uttrakhand which made the other 50% a good experience.
