As you arrive in Munnar, which is approximately a 4-hour drive from Cochin you will check into your hotel and the rest of the day is for leisure in Munnar. You will be enjoying a bus tour around the park and we assure you that you are going to be lost in the beauty of nature surrounding you, the next stop is the Tata Tea Museum, where you see the well-known tea plantations of the south and even enjoy a cup of tea, while learning insights into tea-processing. There are other sites like the Rose garden, Photo point, Mattupetty dam, Elephant Arrival Point and Echo point, that you can visit. After you are done with the long day of sightseeing, you can return to your hotel for some leisure time, have dinner and call it a day and retire to bed.

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel at Munnar, and then head for a 3 hour- drive to Thekkady, you can enjoy this serene road trip because there’ll be scenic views all around you on this trip. As you arrive in Thekkady, you’ll check-in to your hotel and then get ready for an exciting Jeep Safari at Periyar wildlife sanctuary, popularly known as the tiger reserve, where you will spot exotic flora and fauna. Later you can visit the Periyar Lake which is surrounded by thick forest and is also a very well- known spot for boating activities. You can even engage in bamboo rafting, which is optional and will be on your personal expense.
