    Overview

The pristine land where nature has showered blessings portrayed in its local ‘flora’ and ‘fauna’ is in South India. One can visualize the lush green tea plantation land after land and feel the gentle flowing of the breeze caressing your face as you drive through the stretch from Cochin to Munnar. The three cities of Cochin, Munnar, and Alleppey are the pivot of our South India tour packages from Vijayawada. A perfect blend of modern city life, the tranquility of mountains and serenity of backwaters.

Cochin is a modern city on the Malabar Coast along the Arabian Sea. It is a major spice trading city and this trade is existing through centuries and exists till date. It is a gateway to sea trade with the Gulf countries. The densely populated city has got cultural and economic relations with Arab countries. Once Portuguese inhabited this city and their sculptures can be seen throughout the city in remains, at present. After the Portuguese, the Dutch and then the British ruled this region till the independence. Cochin is also known as the financial capital of Kerala. Hub to large industries like chemical and fertilizer, the export of seafood, spices and service sectors related to IT and ITES are a major contributor to the economic growth of the city. Cochin is a major logistic hub of Indian Naval Force.

Munnar is the iconic landmark on God’s own country, situated in Idukki district at an altitude of around 5800 ft above sea level. Here the divine has showered total bliss and tranquility. Divinity is felt in every aspect of nature. Here a tourist is welcomed to lush green terrain up to the hills into the valleys, mist in the air, waterfalls, varieties of flowers, rare butterflies, hectares and hectares of tea garden all counts to make it an ideal hill destination for tourists. The temperature ranges between 2c -25c, the minimum and maximum during winters and summers respectively, and hence it is a place worth visit at any time of the year. This place is a confluence of three rivers Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. Herein forests are a rich source of spices like cardamom, pepper, clove, etc. which contribute to boosting the local economy.

Alleppey is famous for its backwaters. The city is considered as one of the cleanest in the country. This city is also called “Venice of the East” as it is surrounded by beaches backwaters lagoons throughout its length and breadth. The tourist is bound to have a jaw-dropping experience when he spends a night on the stationed houseboats. The moonlight glistening on the calm waters and its shadow create a magical atmosphere which the tourist cherishes and remembers throughout his life. The tourist is further treated with a boat cruise through these backwaters and one can see the villages, vast paddy fields along the bank. A first-hand glimpse of the daily life of local inmates can be visualized and felt. Our South India tour packages from Vijayawada has all these exotic features as a tourist attraction.

Program was done as asked. Hôtel in Munnar was very good. Confortable and good breakfast. A pitty that there was noy internet in the room! Driver was nice person and he knew perfectly where to go and visit. Agent was reactive and professionnal. I higly recommend. Great sightseeing in Munnar. The black waters very peaceful and nice. I would love to have all included during the tour rather than paying to go to the sunset or if i wanted other thing to dîner instead of chicken. It always look like if you were ony interested in money. our.

would rate this trip as 3 because of 3 reasons: 1. Hotel Room : even after making the bookings 1.5 months before , the room allotted was quite noisy and had no scope of change 2. House Boat: was provided at kumarkum even though the address says Alleppye. and KumarKum is remote place and has nothing to do in the evening time 3. Not allowing us to visit Alleppye even after making multiple request
