By air:

Travelling via air is the most convenient way to reach anywhere. The nearest airport to Amritsar is Sri Guru Ram Das Jee. A number of airlines like Indigo, Air India, Jet Airways etc operate on a daily basis from Delhi to Amritsar. Due to close proximity between the two cities, it only takes 1.5 hours via airways.

By train:
