Ahmedabad To Jaisalmer By Train: There is 1 train that directly connects Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer but this is a long journey. It must be said however, that this journey can be fairly comfortable. There are also trains going through other cities in Rajasthan to Jaisalmer but they are more time consuming than this, which takes about 16 hours.

Ahmedabad To Jaisalmer By Road: The 535 km journey between Ahmedabad and Jaisalmer takes a little over 9 and a half hours to complete by road. There are buses available for this journey but they take slightly longer than going by car. Going through Palanpur and Barmer, this can be an excellent road trip for those looking to visit Jaisalmer from Ahmedabad.
