There are flights available from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur, however, these are mostly 1 stop flights. Offered by domestic airlines, Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer flight may take more than 5 hours, with 1 stop in Jodhpur.

Ahmedabad To Jaisalmer By Train: There is 1 train that directly connects Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer but this is a long journey. It takes about 14 hours 30 minutes to travel from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer by train. It must be said, however, that this journey can be fairly comfortable on Bandra Jaisalmer Superfast Express. There are also trains to go through other cities in Rajasthan to Jaisalmer but they are more time consuming than this, which takes about 16 hours.

Ahmedabad To Jaisalmer By Road: The 535 km journey between Ahmedabad and Jaisalmer takes a little over 9 and a half hours to complete by road. There are buses available for this journey but they take slightly longer than going by car. Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer volvo bus services (AC and Sleeper) are run by private operators. Going through Palanpur and Barmer, this can be an excellent road trip for those looking to visit Jaisalmer from Ahmedabad.

heir consistent support and coordination. Among the hotels, On Heritage stood out for its excellent location, food, and service. Lighthouse had average food and some hot-water issues but good staff service, while Mukund Villas had scope for improvement in food quality, room maintenance, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Our drivers were professional and helpful overall. Hanif was friendly and knowledgeable, though the car provided was old and broke down multiple times (not his fault), and he remained supportive throughout. Deepak ensured a smooth long drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur; however, he was often unwilling to cover short distances and would drop us at main points, asking us to walk to nearby places, which became tiring for my parents. Additionally, there is room for improvement in destination and sightseeing selection from the Back2Holidays side. As tourists, we rely heavily on their expertise, and a few places felt like tourist traps with very little to actually see or experience. Despite these areas for improvement, the trip was well coordinated overall, and the strong customer support made it a comfortable family experience. — Atish Deore Food recommendations that we got from the drivers were very good. The best way to reach Jaisalmer is by train, as the train station is connected to most major cities in the country.
