How To Reach Clock Tower Jodhpur

The Clock Tower or the Ghanta Ghar in Jodhpur is a beautiful old minaret style tower that houses an old English clock that still ticks away. Visiting the Clock Tower is a must-do with the monument being attached to one of Jodhpur’s best markets. The tower looks beautiful, especially at night when it is lit up with lights. Being in the centre of the city, the Jodhpur Ghanta Ghar can be accessed by a number of modes of transport available within the city itself. Auto-rickshaws and cabs on hire are available for tourists throughout the city. Though it is not advisable to take a big car into this area, as tourists usually also see the old parts of the city and the markets along with the Clock Tower, both of which involve navigating narrow streets. <readmore>Intercity buses are another viable option to get to the Clock Tower as the Ghanta Ghar City Bus Stand is at a walking distance from the monument.

The hotels in general were not at a three star level except for Shani Vilas in Ranthambore. The hotel in Agra did not even have hot water. The initial room provided in Delhi's metro view was very bad and we had to request for a change. The toilet flush was not working, the bathroom door did not have

a latch, the door was broken etc. Please ensure that the right level of hotels are provided.

The best thing happened is the drivers in the jodpur, who resolved the messed up plan by the travel agent. Hotel Sia Resorts changed and we have been changed to different resort,which was older property. The daywise plan made by the travel agent was absurd and created lot of confusion.

Sidhu (Being Musafir) was a great person for planning the trip in Rajasthan to Agra and Delhi (final drop off at the airport). We did a trip in Rajasthan, Agra and Delhi which was organised by Sidhu. Only once we had issues with the hotel, and after informing Sidhu, he re-booked us to a five star hotel instantly. It was a dream come true! Everyday, Sidhu used to call and inquire, of any issues we are having. And the driver+car provided by Sidhu for the trip, was just what we wanted for the trip! The Driver (Rakesh) never said "no" to any of our requests. He gave us all the right suggestions, being a local in Rajasthan, which also helped us very much. We could not have asked for more from Sidhu and Rakesh.
