How To Reach Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park In Jodhpur

The Rao Jodha Desert Park, Jodhpur is an ecologically restored area just outside the beautiful city of Jodhpur. The park lies at the foot of the iconic Mehrangarh Fort, which is Jodhpur’s most visited tourist attraction. 

The Visitor Centre is housed in the Singhoria Pol, one of the gates of old that have crumbled over time. Visitors can enter the Rao Jodha Park through the Visitor Centre itself, which is about 800 metres from the Mehrangarh Fort's main gate. The park encompasses about 170 acres of rocky land around the fort itself, and there are multiple other entry points around the fort. <readmore> Getting to the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park area is possible via auto rickshaws, cabs and even buses that go till Mehrangarh Fort.

We booked a 6 days and 5 nights trip to Rajasthan from MY OWN JOURNEY Except on day 1 , Hotels provided are good enough room size are big However for rest of the days there was no confirmation from travel agent which hotel to stay. Note: we booked the package almost 3 months prior to trip. Still on travel day there was no assurance where we will be staying. TRAVEL AGENT SHOULD HAVE PROVIDE CONFIRMATION IN ADVANCE Otherwise hotel stay was good. Vehicle / driver - vehicle we hot is clean and in very good condition. However I felt the driver little bit arrogant In one instance, he refused to dropped us at restaurants for dinner and we have few seniors citizens with us moreover the restaurant was hardly within 1km range So that thing I didn't like. Overall the trip went well Thanks My Own Journey team.

Recently I have completed my trip to golden triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) with my family. This trip was booked with Trip sailor on travel triangle platform. Initially I was hesitant to use travel triangle since it is a online platform but travel triangle support helped in clearing initial doubts about the platform and then I connected with Preeti Aggarwal from TripSailor. Preeti was helpful and approachable throughout the tour and provided best itinerary with in our budget. During the tour as well she was available all the way over the call. Hotels and Cab arrangements were also good and in particular cab coordinator Parvinder was very friendly and provided great service . Overall It was pleasant experience with Tripsailor.

I would also like to thank Mr. Hemant Singh ji from the bottom of my heart for his availability and humble nature. Last but not the least I thank and really appreciate Mr. Man Singh ji our driver for 2 days who made the sight seeing more enjoyable. Stay at Jaigarh palace brought the feel of staying at a palace itself. Heritage Juma camp provided a great hospitality and we could feel of the rich culture of Rajasthan. The food too was awesome. We had some spare time and spend the 3rd day at Pol Haveli (arranged by Hemant Singhji) at a roof top restaurant which was another great add on to the trip. Looking forward for more such trips in future. Stay at Jaigarh palace, Hospitality at Heritage Juma camp, Heavenly breeze at Vyas chatri, Journey from Jaisalmer to Sand dunes (thanks to Man Singhji), Kuldhara village a must visit place.
