A gently arching beach is the most popular stretch of sand on the Praslin Island. A great spot for sunbathing, it's also ideal for water sports. Anse Volbert Beach in Seychelles is also known as Cote d’Or, meaning the Golden Coast.

Visit Whitetip Divers - Whitetip Divers Centre invites diving experts as well as amateurs to visit and dive as much as they want to. This place allows everyone to not only dive but also calls for scuba discovery, certifications of PADI, and various other fun-filled activities.
Snorkelling - This beach is a perfect place for snorkelling as the visibility under the water is approximately 30 m, fish variety is amazing, and the water has a normal temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. Cote d’Or is also one of the best spots for snorkelling due to the incoming of small waves which greet the beginners.
Kayaking - It is always a good idea to take a kayak on rent and start exploring Anse Volbert Beach and its nearby attractions. Paddle your way through the beach and visit Chauve Souris Island to make it a worthwhile journey.
Boat rides near islands - They journey does not end after exploring the beach, rather it starts from thereon. Take a boat ride to the nearby islands of Curieuse, Cousin, St Pierre Islet, and Aride to learn and know more about what the nearby places have to offer.
At 2600 meters, Anse Volbert is the longest beach on the Praslin Island. It is also one of the most popular beaches in Seychelles. Activities here include swimming, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing. The waters here are ideal for diving. The seabed is interesting and divers may come across a wide range of marine life including fish, colorful starfish and even sea turtles. The most popular diving spot is a wide area between the white-sand beach and Chauve-Souris Island, which is about 200 yards in the sea.
Anse Volbert village offers many different kinds of accommodations, from luxury resorts or guesthouses. Since the village is closer to the beach, it receives tourists in Seychelles all day long.
There are also plenty of restaurants and eateries to cater to visitors of all ages. It is one of the rare beaches in Seychelles that is loved by families, kids, and couples. There is ample space for couples to find a peaceful spot to sunbathe and shallow waters make swimming for children safer.
There is no particular best time to visit Anse Volbert as the beach is open all day. However, visit in the early morning or during the sunset to enjoy ocean vistas. There is no entry fee for Anse Volbert as it is a public beach.
