About Golfing in Seychelles

The Lemuria Resort Golf Course is an award-winning championship course situated among some of the loveliest scenery in the world. The Seychelles Golf Club has a difficult course with narrow fairways and migratory birds roaming around. However, it has stunning tropical scenery and a course that any golfer might find challenging.

The Seychelles Golf Club, the only golf course on the island of Mahe, is on the southeastern coast at Anse aux Pins, about 10-minute drive from the Seychelles International Airport. Considered by many golfers as a challenging course, it has 4,992 yards with nine holes. This course was built in 1980 and is bordered by coconut palms and takamaka trees around a mangrove marsh. Since the course is part of a wildlife sanctuary, rare migratory birds can be regularly seen. The Seychelles Golf Club is open throughout the year, so there is no specific best time to enjoy golfing in Seychelles. It is not necessary to pre-book tee times except on Thursdays and Saturdays. Visitors are welcome to the member’s club.  

The Constance Lemuria Resort has the championship par 70 18-hole golf course. Built in 2000, the golf course is on the northwest coast of the island of Praslin. It offers spectacular views of three sandy beaches and terraced greens. Its 15th hole is near the popular Anse Georgette beach. There is no fee for guests of the resort and golf equipment is available on rent.

Best travel destination for honeymoon couples. Seychelles is well known for white-sand beaches, tropical climate, and biodiversity. A must visit places - La Digue, Victoria, Anse Lazio, Beau Vallon, Tea Factory & Saint-Anne Marine National Park. Kunal along with Creole Seychelles service partner were very helpful and provided a really good arrangement for our accomodation. Staff at the Oasis hotel in Praslin & Berjaya in Mahe were very polite and available during the entire stay. We visited Praslin (3N), La Digue (1D) & Mahe (3N), both the locations were at the walking distance from the beach. Food & Water bottles at the hotel were expensive which made us explore reasonable restaurants/food outlets/Supermarkets outside our hotel. Overall the entire experience of the trip was amazing. Walks on the white sands of La Digue & Praslin. Beau Vallon beach view & Pizza from Sun Coco in Mahe.
