This airport is situated about 124 kilometers from Gangtok and there are taxis and cabs that will take you to your destination.

By Rail

Sikkim does not have its own railway station and if you plan on traveling to Sikkim from Bangalore by train, you will have to travel to the nearest stations. The closest railways stations to Sikkim are the NJP railway junction and the New Jalpaiguri station, both of which are in West Bengal. There are regular buses, taxis and cabs from the stations to Gangtok and it will take about 3-4 hours to reach.

By Road
