Trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - DarjeelingHad a good Holiday other than few issues. Hotel Royal Lachung in Lachung no way three star category. It should be dropped. Hotel Golden Dolma and Spa in darjeeling had no approach road as it was one way traffic but rooms were good. Palri Boutique and Tracon Retreat were good places in Gangtok to stay.he car and the driver at Darjeeling was not as per taste. The driver was swearing through entire journey to others crossing him on roads and the car was non ac when for entire trip was paid for ac cabs. Moreover so many driver and car changes was not required as the entire journey which was in two states could have been managed in 2 cars. Still 4/5 as my family enjoyed
Trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - DarjeelingOverall it was a nice & memorable trip Gangtok was the best destination , because of non availability of permit we could not visit Nathula pass.
Trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - DarjeelingWe would like to appreciate the hotel accomodation and the travel facilities arranged by our travel agent Raisoone travels. To get decent accommodation along with food in remote places like Lachen and Lachung is not easy and they have done a good job in arranging that. However, We couldn't say the same about our entire trip. Our main interest was to explore north sikkim and it's top places - gurudongmar lake, yumthang valley, and chopta valley. Though these places were present in our itinerary, we couldn't visit it. We were informed about this by our driver only after we reached lachen. Due to heavy snowfall in the previous days, the police officers didn't give us permission to go there. We have had multiple interactions with Raisoone travels with respect to the itinerary and how best to accommodate all the places we wanted to visit within the span of 4 days. And not once they mentioned that there could be a possibility that we might not be able to go to these places due to extreme climatic conditions. On contacting them they didn't even offer to provide us with a back up plan as to what next is to be done. This was very upsetting for us. Had we known about this earlier we would have made necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly. Our driver being good natured took us to Mount Katao so that we do not end up seeing nothing after going all the way there! We felt the trip was not worth the money we spent. Would like to request for a call back to discuss this further.
Trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - DarjeelingOverall it was nice trip but we missed some important spots because of blocked roads due to snowfall.

Trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - DarjeelingHad a very good trip. The travel agent coordinator Nishitji always stood in contact with us and he always talked so politely and helped as and when required. Just one thing tso ensure that please dont force us to pay full amount before the trip completion.. Atleast 10% can be given on last day. Even after discussing at the time of booking only that some part will be paid at end of trip indrajit sir senior coordinator forced us to pay full amount... We somehow got the permit to changu lake though not till the lake...enjoyed the weather and snow there...also...Nishitji upgraded our hotel and the upgraded one was at the best location exactly at the Darjeeling toy train station and hotel was so good. we got a permit to go up baba mandir
