Sunbathing on the beaches of the Mediterranean on the Costa Del Sol, hiking the beautiful Pyrenees mountains, watching a matador escape a rowdy bull in Madrid, and swirling hips with flamenco dancers are the best things to do in Spain. So, grab a tourist map with important Spain travel information and make your holidays special!

Why should I visit Spain?
If a country is filled with iconic monuments, tourist-friendly cities, rich culture and an effervescent party atmosphere, it's not really hard to see why Spain is ranked among the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The coastal villages and resorts lined on Spain’s sun-drenched Mediterranean coast enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine. Places like Barcelona, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands get the major chunk of tourists who come in search of the early winter sun. Cities like Madrid and Barcelona are well connected to other destinations in Europe. Travel in Spain is relatively cheaper than other European countries like France or Italy. And to top it all off, Spanish cuisine is diverse, mouth-watering, and ranging in flavors as per regions from Valencia and Andalucia to Catalonia and Basque Country.
For those looking to veer off the popular tourist trail should pay a visit to the Canary Islands where quaint fishing villages and secluded beaches await. Get caught up in artful flamenco dance performances at Sevilla, explore medieval palaces of Moorish royalty, and admire the Guggenheim Museum’s collection of contemporary art in Bilbao. Whether it’s dancing their worries away with swirls of flamenco, driving out their fears by running with the bulls or splashing tomatoes on stranger’s faces, Spaniards have a special talent for celebrating all good aspects of life.

Trip to EuropeTrip was planned and executed nicely. There was some small hiccups but over all it was well planned. As this was our honeymoon trip we did not go for too much expoloration and did all local activities as they come and we were never disappointed. We started from Paris and stayed in hotel Louis blanc which was located across a metro station that made our commute real easy. But hotel was not good, room was very small and basic amenities were broken or really bad. But we did not pay too much attention as we were busy with Paris. But if you can avoid the hotel, please do. We moved from Paris to beautiful city of sevilla, we just loved this small city, we stayed in Catalonia Santa justa which was just marvelous. Location was really great. If you are in Spain, dont miss this historic city. From sevilla, we travelled to Barcelona, this city was so beautiful that we immediately started regretting that we have only 2 days here. We stayed in hotel miramar and it was really luxurious experience, it has a feel of 5 star hotel and really courteous staff. It can't write more about Barcelona because you have to be here to actually describe it. This is by far my second most beautiful city after new york. And I have travelled almost all the major cities in US and South Asia. And next one was the surprise which we had booked because Ibiza was too cold. And it was Tenerife, largest island of canary Island archipelago. The moment we had started seeing island from the sky till we say good bye to it, it was an experience. An inactive volcano mountain teide, in the center of island with black sand beaches. Beautiful forests and valleys with small villages at the bottom. This island has lunar landscape because of volcanic eruption and it is an experience to live. If I am going to Spain again, I am going here without fail. We spent 3 days here which was best time of the trip irrespective of hotel was not great and you had to walk 2 kms uphill to come to eat but it did not bother much. And the last lag was Madrid, the capital. By this time, we were little tired to explore a big city so we stayed low and just went few places. It was decent experience. Hotel real villa was located at the center and all the monuments and historic places were at walking distance. Best part of Spain for us were canary Island and Barcelona. Planning from travel triangle was good with no Oh-shit moments. Thank you for Tenerife. Really thank you. Note: this review has been posted via mobile, so please go past any bad line, if you don't understand then may be it is wrongly written.
Trip to EuropeWe had a Spain tour with Customiseyourtrip through traveltriangle. Great service throughout whether at planning stage, visa assistance or during the trip. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable and the team was constantly in touch with us trying to ensure a smooth, relaxed enjoyable experience. There were hiccups like flight delay and train strike but the team managed it very well. A special mention for Ina and Mamta for creating a memorable experience for us. A hot air balloon ride over Barcelona and tour of Real Alcazar & cathedral in Seville.
Trip to EuropeThanks a lot to Duniya Safari (in particular, Sidhhanth and Rituparno) for arranging our Spain trip. We really liked the provided hotels and the best part was the location which was just 5-7 mins walking from the station. This made our journey quite comforting. The cabs arranged was airport pickup/ drop were well on time and we dint face an issue there. Special morning reminders of our day-wise itinerary, by Siddhanth were quite helpful :). What could have been done better- the time slots which were taken for Royal Palace / Park Guille should have included a buffer time. If the slots would have been booked keeping into consideration of the time we will be landing, checking into the hotel and then reaching to the required destination, it would have been an ideal trip. But, needless to say we had an overall a very pleasant experience. Thanks again to the team for planning this trip. Best regards, Radhika Hotel Ayre was the best out of all :)
Trip to EuropeHad a great 10 day trip to Spain and Portugal. Timely on-trip support provided by Mr. Krishna. Overall trip plan was excellent and we had a memorable time.
Trip to EuropeWe travelled to Spain on 24th April 2018. It was 11 day trip and feedback is as follows: Trip was wonderful. Great pricing and value for money By Suntravs and Travel Triangle. Few things that can be improved upon are as follows: Issue was with VISA documentation. There were more documents needed by SPAIN VFS office than were told to us. Thankfully our travel date was far so we got re appointment with VFS with correct set of documents. VISA was then smooth. All the hotels were nice but location became an issue as our trip proceeded. Barcelona was at city centre. Valencia hotel was walkable from city centre. Seville was slightly far from city centre. Madrid was on outskirts of city which made us miss our sight seeing tour on first day and for second day as well we had to take taxi as taking Bus/Metro was not an option to reach on time. A sync up with drivers one day prior is the need of the hour, just 1 hour before the journey can be very unnerving especially if the mode of transport is train or bus and mobile data connection may or may not work in the middle of the journey. About Hotels: 1. Barcelona: Axel Hotel a. Pros: i. Great location. Very near to city Centre and from tour starting point. ii. Had tea bags and hot water provisions in room. iii. Neat and clean rooms. b. Cons: i. A gay friendly hotel, which might not be liked by Indian families. Though it’s a common culture in Spain. We absolutely had no problems. 2. Valencia: Senator Parque a. Pros: i. 20 mins walk from city Centre, which was manageable ii. Big hotel and very friendly staff. They even helped us with our locked suitcase :) iii. Neat and clean rooms. b. Cons: i. None 3. Seville : Al Andulacia a. Pros: i. Huge hotel with probably the best and biggest buffet spread. ii. Neat and clean rooms. iii. In front of Betis football stadium, in case you are a football fan. iv. Bus stop near by. v. Staff was courteous enough to shift us to bigger room since our room’s AC temperature was not up to our likes. b. Cons: i. Far off from city center from where the sight-seeing tours start. ii. No hot water and no provision for tea. Indians like us need tea in mornings iii. Few rooms have fixed AC temperatures. You cannot increase or decrease the temperature beyond certain number. 4. Madrid : Norte Occidental a. Pros: i. Bus stop right in front of hotel. ii. Metro station at 10 mins walk. iii. Neat and clean rooms. iv. A multiplex nearby for movie buffs and couple of places to eat. b. Cons: i. Very far off from city. It takes 45 mins by Metro (you have to change 2 metro to reach Sol, the city centre) and 1 hour by bus. ii. No hot water and no provision for tea. Indians like us need tea in mornings . iii. Breakfast buffet spread was not that great as compared to all the hotels where we stayed earlier.
