Things to do in Barcelona
Barcelona happens to be the cosmopolitan capital of Spain and there are numerous things to do in Barcelona. It has some of the inspiring and unique architecture of the world.
Start off with a visit to Las Ramblas that is one of the major tourist hubs of the city. If you are in Barcelona you are bound to land up here eventually. This place is busy throughout the course of the day as well as night. Though this place has been a lot friendly, once upon a time it did not cater to the tourists in the manner which it does now.
Casa Batlo is another architectural wonder, where the masterpiece of Italian architect Antoni Gauti is at its evergreen best. It has been conferred the tag of one of the famous historical sites by UNESCO. Once you pay a visit to this place you will for sure confer it to as a master piece. It may seem to be a lot tempting to stay inside and admire the interiors free of charge, but the audio visual guide is something that you can hardly afford to miss, it shows the state of the building which is a 100 years old. This is one of the best things to do in Barcelona though the crowd may seem a lot to bother you. As a traveler book your tickets well in advance so that you do not have to suffer through the long and tiresome queues.
One of the best things to do in Barcelona at night is to head towards the Camp Nou Stadium which is the home to some of the greatest football clubs of the world, Barcelona. The club plays most of its home matches and would serves as as a great opportunity to have a hands on experience of seeing of some of the greatest sporting heroes of all time. Book your tickets well in advance as the stadium is packed to capacity.
Barcelona as the name suggests is the pride of Spain and there is a mad rush of global tourists from all across the globe. There are a number of things to do in Barcelona which are both exciting and moving at the same time. So why the wait? It is going to be one heck of a trip so schedule your flight and plans well in advance! Barcelona is calling you!
The beaches of Barcelona are the top attraction during the summer months. Beach is pronounced as 'plaza' in Spanish and ' Platja' in Catalonian. During the time of May to mid-September, the water temperature remains around 21 degree celsius to 25 degree celsius, thus making it comfortable to swim. While Barceloneta is the m...

Trip to EuropeWe had a lovely time travelling to spain . And the credit goes to travel triangle. It was quite well organised . There was nothing that we missed out exploring on in Madrid and Barcelona . Our hotels were pretty good and pick up and drop off service was smooth too and Ashish had arranged Mercedes for us . All in all it was a brilliant trip and this would not have been possible without the help of Travel Triangle /Memorable Vacation and Holidays also Ashish deserves a special mention as he was the one who arranged everything the way we wanted it to be.
Trip to EuropeBooked a package for Spain for 3 people for 5 days from 2-6 Jun 2019. Travelled to Barcelona and Madrid. The itinerary was planned by Duniya Safari to perfection. Mayuri used to give timely reminders of all upcoming events. The hotels were chosen at most central locations in the cities. All major attractions were either a few minutes away by walk or Metro. We would recommend Duniya Safari to everyone. Excellent job done and keep up the good show.
Trip to EuropeThe destination was perfect for our honeymoon and it was perfectly planned by Shashank . Not only did he assist us before the travel but also he was always with us while we were travelling in case there was an issue. We will surely plan our next trip with travel triangle, all hassle free. Oceanographic ,beach and nice hotel at valencia, good cruise at barcelona and nice city madrid.
Trip to EuropeTrip was planned and executed nicely. There was some small hiccups but over all it was well planned. As this was our honeymoon trip we did not go for too much expoloration and did all local activities as they come and we were never disappointed. We started from Paris and stayed in hotel Louis blanc which was located across a metro station that made our commute real easy. But hotel was not good, room was very small and basic amenities were broken or really bad. But we did not pay too much attention as we were busy with Paris. But if you can avoid the hotel, please do. We moved from Paris to beautiful city of sevilla, we just loved this small city, we stayed in Catalonia Santa justa which was just marvelous. Location was really great. If you are in Spain, dont miss this historic city. From sevilla, we travelled to Barcelona, this city was so beautiful that we immediately started regretting that we have only 2 days here. We stayed in hotel miramar and it was really luxurious experience, it has a feel of 5 star hotel and really courteous staff. It can't write more about Barcelona because you have to be here to actually describe it. This is by far my second most beautiful city after new york. And I have travelled almost all the major cities in US and South Asia. And next one was the surprise which we had booked because Ibiza was too cold. And it was Tenerife, largest island of canary Island archipelago. The moment we had started seeing island from the sky till we say good bye to it, it was an experience. An inactive volcano mountain teide, in the center of island with black sand beaches. Beautiful forests and valleys with small villages at the bottom. This island has lunar landscape because of volcanic eruption and it is an experience to live. If I am going to Spain again, I am going here without fail. We spent 3 days here which was best time of the trip irrespective of hotel was not great and you had to walk 2 kms uphill to come to eat but it did not bother much. And the last lag was Madrid, the capital. By this time, we were little tired to explore a big city so we stayed low and just went few places. It was decent experience. Hotel real villa was located at the center and all the monuments and historic places were at walking distance. Best part of Spain for us were canary Island and Barcelona. Planning from travel triangle was good with no Oh-shit moments. Thank you for Tenerife. Really thank you. Note: this review has been posted via mobile, so please go past any bad line, if you don't understand then may be it is wrongly written.
Trip to EuropeWe had a Spain tour with Customiseyourtrip through traveltriangle. Great service throughout whether at planning stage, visa assistance or during the trip. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable and the team was constantly in touch with us trying to ensure a smooth, relaxed enjoyable experience. There were hiccups like flight delay and train strike but the team managed it very well. A special mention for Ina and Mamta for creating a memorable experience for us. A hot air balloon ride over Barcelona and tour of Real Alcazar & cathedral in Seville.
Trip to EuropeWe travelled to Spain on 24th April 2018. It was 11 day trip and feedback is as follows: Trip was wonderful. Great pricing and value for money By Suntravs and Travel Triangle. Few things that can be improved upon are as follows: Issue was with VISA documentation. There were more documents needed by SPAIN VFS office than were told to us. Thankfully our travel date was far so we got re appointment with VFS with correct set of documents. VISA was then smooth. All the hotels were nice but location became an issue as our trip proceeded. Barcelona was at city centre. Valencia hotel was walkable from city centre. Seville was slightly far from city centre. Madrid was on outskirts of city which made us miss our sight seeing tour on first day and for second day as well we had to take taxi as taking Bus/Metro was not an option to reach on time. A sync up with drivers one day prior is the need of the hour, just 1 hour before the journey can be very unnerving especially if the mode of transport is train or bus and mobile data connection may or may not work in the middle of the journey. About Hotels: 1. Barcelona: Axel Hotel a. Pros: i. Great location. Very near to city Centre and from tour starting point. ii. Had tea bags and hot water provisions in room. iii. Neat and clean rooms. b. Cons: i. A gay friendly hotel, which might not be liked by Indian families. Though it’s a common culture in Spain. We absolutely had no problems. 2. Valencia: Senator Parque a. Pros: i. 20 mins walk from city Centre, which was manageable ii. Big hotel and very friendly staff. They even helped us with our locked suitcase :) iii. Neat and clean rooms. b. Cons: i. None 3. Seville : Al Andulacia a. Pros: i. Huge hotel with probably the best and biggest buffet spread. ii. Neat and clean rooms. iii. In front of Betis football stadium, in case you are a football fan. iv. Bus stop near by. v. Staff was courteous enough to shift us to bigger room since our room’s AC temperature was not up to our likes. b. Cons: i. Far off from city center from where the sight-seeing tours start. ii. No hot water and no provision for tea. Indians like us need tea in mornings iii. Few rooms have fixed AC temperatures. You cannot increase or decrease the temperature beyond certain number. 4. Madrid : Norte Occidental a. Pros: i. Bus stop right in front of hotel. ii. Metro station at 10 mins walk. iii. Neat and clean rooms. iv. A multiplex nearby for movie buffs and couple of places to eat. b. Cons: i. Very far off from city. It takes 45 mins by Metro (you have to change 2 metro to reach Sol, the city centre) and 1 hour by bus. ii. No hot water and no provision for tea. Indians like us need tea in mornings . iii. Breakfast buffet spread was not that great as compared to all the hotels where we stayed earlier.
Trip to EuropeGood - Hotels and location of the hotels was very nice. The vendors for Internal Tours were all good and not that far from hotels. Bad - The cabs were not on time, wasted an hour at-least on every airport with so much of hassle. The airport destination from Paris Hotel to Paris airport was wrong. The followups are not that punctual, I mean the followup were supposed to be before the actual thing happens and not post the delay. The Hotel Barcelona House Check in was at 3 and we could have taken a later flight from paris or the check in should have been requested earlier. Infact I was not aware of it till the time I reached the Hotel. No 'good' surprises for a couple on Honeymoon (I have heard good stories from other couples, nothing to share from my end). The cab messup in Paris can be refunded to me now as compared to later. If PickYourTrail is working day in day out with their vendor then they can get the refund for the vendors mistake. Bad things before trip - Visa Assistance is so pathetic, cant even describe here. Barcelona is not a honeymoon destination should have kept it for 2 days as compared to 2 in Costa Brava. Costing details were not clear. The Walthrough is also not that amazing as it sounds. It is written in the itinerary that they can provide the Deep Sea Diving Vendor but they cant. The vendor that the agent provided is the first one you can also see on google. Paris and Costa Brava are simply amazing. Barcelona and Madrid are not Honeymoon destinations. Watch Lido Show in paris, it is very nice
Trip to EuropeThank You Travel Triangle and Team Travel Masterz for making it a wonderful trip. The itinerary and arrangement made by you people at Paris, Barcelona and Madrid were all top notch. Frankly I couldn't find any deficiency in your services throughout the trip. Not a single flaw. Amazing. I would be honest, initially I was very skeptical about Travel Masterz and wanted to go ahead with some known names in the industry. In fact the quotations which were made available to us (by different vendors) were quite competitive. But I must admit the way Punarvasu persuaded me for this trip, I have become fan. He is an amazing guy who will take you through every minute details of the itinerary/package without making any false promises. No wonder Consultant represents the Company. Despite the fact that I had made several customisation in my itinerary, they were patient enough to make such changes wherever demanded. Also, the team have an immense knowledge about all the destinations, which makes it very easy/convenient for us in our decision making. They would also tell you the loopholes which the other tour operators usually exercise to sell off their packages. The best part of our trip is the hotels, which were right there at the City Centre. We never had to worry about the travel, as most of the places to visit were at the walking distance. Also, special thanks to Arpita for her last minute suggestions. They were quite useful. She knows the city in and out. Top of that, they'll call you on your local number (provided by them as a complementary service) to keep a check whether everything is as per the plan or not. They have offered more than what they had promised; now this is something which is unheard in Indian travel industry. Thanks a ton Vasu and entire Travel Masterz team. I would highly recommend everyone to plan their holidays with Travel Triangle and Travel Masterz.
Trip to EuropeMr Jatan Gupta, our Travel Triangle coordinator and Mr Mayank Gupta from HolidayArte made sure that all arrangements were good and as per expectations. We had a wonderful time in Spain. The visits to Al-Ahmbra, Medinat Al Zahra. Seville Alcazar and Cardoba Mosque. Walking tours in Toledo-Day and Granada. The food was excellent especially the Tapas and seafood. People watching in the Puertas and squares of Madrid and Barcelona. And of course the beaches of Nerja.
