How to Reach Spots for Beach Visits in Barcelona

In the Catalonian capital there are many splendid beaches you can enjoy either with your family and friends or all alone. These beaches are the oasis of tranquility and spots of serenity. For reaching the magnificent beaches of Barcelona, one can make use of the public transports that connect all the places and allows the visitors to reach the destinations in the shortest time possible.

1. Barceloneta Beach

By Bus: You can board the bus number A2 from the airport terminal and get down at Pl Espanya-Paral-lel. From here board the bus D20 and reach Pg Maritim Admiral Cervera. A 2 minutes’ walk will make you reach the beach.

By Train: Get on the train numbered L9S from the international terminal and get down at Metro Collblanc. From here take a bus D20 and get down at Pg Maritim Admiral Cervera. A walk for 2 minutes is needed to reach the beach.

2. Bogatell Beach

By Bus: Board a bus from the airport terminal of number A2 and get down at Pl Espanya Paral-lel and take another bus from there having number D20 and get down at Almirall Cervera.

By Taxi: You can take a taxi from the international terminal and directly reach the beach.

3. Nova Icaria beach

By Train: Take a train from the airport terminal having numbered R2 Nord. Get down at paying de Gracia. From this station take another train of number L4 to Ciutadella. From Ciutadella, it is about 12 minutes of walking.

By Bus: Board the bus having numbered A2 and reach Pl.Espanya. From this juncture take another bus of number H16 and reach Doctor Trueta. From this bus stop walk for 10 minutes till you reach the beach.

4. Ocata Beach

By Train: From the airport terminal take a train of number R2 Nord and get down at Barcelona Sants. From Barcelona Sants board another train of number R1 for Ocata.

By Bus: From the airport terminal take a bus having number A2 and reach Pg. Gracia con case. From this bus stop and board another bus numbered either N80 or N81. Aboard the bus at Estacio D Ocata.

5. St. Pol de Mar Beach

By Train: Take train of number R2 Nord and reach Barcelona Sants. Get down at this station and take another train having number R1 and reach Sant Pol de Mar.

By Bus: You will get a direct bus service from the airport terminal T2 C to the Sant Pol de Mar Beach.
