Taking a long drive through mountains to visit waterfalls is a great way to explore the region. However, tourists can also opt for trekking in Coonoor to reach the base or top of the waterfalls. A moderate trek to Catherine Falls or Katary Waterfalls is recommended in the rainy season to enjoy the nature’s glory at its best. Trekking in Coonoor allows tourists to do something off the popular trail and also opportunities to witness local flora and fauna in the Nilgiri Hills.

A 50-year-old estate named Highfield Tea Estate lies about 2 km northeast of upper Coonoor. It’s one of the oldest working Nilgiri tea factories in Tamil Nadu that is open to visitors. Visitors are welcome to watch the tea-making process in the plantation and also buy different flavours of freshly produced tea at the shop here. It is also one of the ideal places for shopping in Coonoor, especially items such as tea, chocolates, spices, and herbal oils.

Wondering what to do in Coonoor? Take the afternoon to stroll through Sim’s Park. This botanical garden, developed in Japanese style, is a major point of interest in Coonoor for kids and families. The fruit and vegetable event held at Sim’s Park every year in May is worth attending. Boating in Coonoor can also be enjoyed at a tiny lake in the Sim’s Park, a famous point of interest in Coonoor.

There are two popular viewpoints in Coonoor: Dolphin’s Nose and Lamb’s Rock. Both of these viewpoints have their own appeal. While Dolphin’s Nose allows breath-taking panoramas of the valley and Coimbatore city, Lamb’s Rock is a relatively quieter spot to have fun with family or the better half. These viewpoints are located only 2 kilometres apart and yet offer a completely different view of the surroundings. Catherine Waterfalls is visible from Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint along the Coonoor-Kotagiri road. One can also opt to take a short trek to a lovely spot in the lap of nature.

CAB and Driver is good, driver has planned the places well and covered as per Itinerary. On the way, he has also explained about the places while driving in Mysore and Ooty. Hotel Delightz Inn is ok only (Don't go for it if you're more than 2 Adults). Room is very tight with no chair to sit and place the luggage, free breakfast is not that level as not much options when compared to others. Roopa elite is recommended hotel, breakfast is superb. After seeing the places and travel, hotels, trip seems bit costly. Time constraint to visit Ooty places Overall, felt that package is bit costly but went smooth from start to end

I had worst experience with travel triangle and agent. faced many issue on the trip. Once payment is done then we are on our own only to deal with issues. No one will check after the payment. Rakesh was our travel agent from dream yatra .there is no plan done for our trip. No proper cab arrangement/ hotel payment issue. missed half of the tour sight seeing. Most importantly Dream yatra do not pick call, they insist us to send whatsapp message only.I also raised all these concerns to traveltriangle in email but there is no response. I am giving rating as 10 since feedback is not getting submitted when i gave rating as 1. No good experience, it was a NIGHTMARE.

We recently had a wonderful trip to Mysore and Coorg, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. We were fortunate to explore a variety of scenic locations, each more breathtaking than the last, and we indulged in delicious local cuisine that gave us a true taste of the region's flavors. A big part of our enjoyable experience was thanks to our trip driver, Sunil, who was extremely professional throughout the journey. He ensured we covered all the places listed in the itinerary and even shared interesting insights about the destinations. His dedication and pleasant demeanor added great value to our trip. The resort we stayed at was another highlight of our vacation. Nestled amidst the serene woods, it offered stunning views that made for a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The food served at the resort was equally delightful, offering a wide range of flavors that satisfied our palate. However, while the trip itself was fantastic, I want to share some feedback regarding the booking experience. Our travel agent, Kishan from Bookitforgetit, was very proactive and responsive before we booked the trip. Unfortunately, after the booking was finalized, I found myself repeatedly following up for crucial details such as the hotel voucher, payment confirmations, and driver information. This lack of consistent communication and post-booking support was a bit disappointing. My humble request to Travel Triangle is to ensure that better customer service is provided after the booking process is complete. It’s crucial to maintain the same level of attentiveness throughout the entire experience. While the trip itself was great, the post-booking service left room for improvement. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for travelers like us.
