Tandem skydiving in Pattaya is run by certified instructors who control the whole jump, with gear checked before every flight and jumps held when the weather is bad. You are harnessed to your instructor from exit to landing, which is why no experience is needed. As with any adventure sport there is inherent risk, but the tandem setup and the operator's safety checks make it one of the more controlled ways to jump.

You exit at 13,000 feet, the highest tandem altitude in Thailand, and freefall for about 60 seconds at speeds up to 220 kph. The parachute then opens for a 5 to 7 minute canopy ride over the Gulf of Thailand before a gentle landing.

November to February is best: dry, clear and stable, with the fewest cancellations. March to May is hotter and hazier, and June to October is the monsoon, when afternoon jumps are most likely to be scrubbed. Morning slots are the safest bet in any month.

Yes. A tandem needs no licence, no training and no experience. A 15 to 20 minute briefing on body position is all you get, and the instructor does the rest. It is the standard way almost everyone does their first jump.

The weight cap is 115 kg, with a surcharge starting at 95 kg (THB 500 above 95 kg, THB 1,000 above 100 kg, and more above 110 kg). The minimum age is 18, or 12 with a parent's written consent. Bring ID to check-in.
