5. Shedd Aquarium

Located in the Lake Shore District, the Shedd Aquarium is an indoor public aquarium. It opened on May 30, 1930, and was one of the largest indoor facilities in the world for some time. It has about 32,000 species of animals making it a vivid attraction for tourists.

Spring/ Summer (June to August)

With the weather fluctuating between 20-27 degrees Celsius, the spring to summer season in Chicago is wonderful. Winters (November to March)

The winter months are not very popular among tourists as the temperatures fall to below freezing point.
