Best Time To Visit
Spring/ Summer (June to August)
With the weather fluctuating between 20-27 degrees Celsius, the spring to summer season in Chicago is wonderful. It is touted as the best time to visit Chicago and package holidays to Chicago are the most popular during this time. The sky is clear and the beaches are beautiful. This is also a time of high influx of tourists, so the lodging can be costlier.
Winters (November to March)
The winter months are not very popular among tourists as the temperatures fall to below freezing point. The outdoor activities are minimal but the only time there is a spike in tourism activities is during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Chicago vacation packages are booked at year-end but no other time during winters will you find many tourists here.
Fall (September- October)
Another set of cold months in Chicago, the fall season is colder than any other time of the year. It is also a very wet time with continuous rains. This makes it very difficult for tourists to go around the city, exploring new places. The temperature is down to 10 degrees Celsius.
