Kashmir Tour Package From Kerala

A snow-covered mountain on Earth, Kashmir is one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the world. Whether you are an Indian traveler or have just arrived in the country, a tour through Kashmir should be on top of your bucket list.
For the best travel experience in India, travel from the South to the North by booking Kashmir tour package from Kerala.

The Kashmir valley extends much beyond the snow-capped peaks, cascading streams, heavenly hills, and towering fir pines. Start exploring on the banks of the river Jhelum, right in the capital of the state, Srinagar. The city is a sight to sore eyes, with its picturesque backdrop being coloured every moment by colourful shikaras that tread the Dal Lake. There is no lack of history either, for the entire city is well-populated with Mughal-age buildings and mosques that reflect the amalgamation of art, culture, and religion. A little distance away from Srinagar lies one of the most celebrated Hindu shrines in India, the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. The actual temple is nestled deep within the Trikuta Hills, roughly 13 kilometres from Katra. The tracks that lead to the temple are rocky and cut into mountains that offer unrivalled views of the surrounding Kashmir valley.

If you're planning a Kashmir trip from Kerala, get ready to experience a mesmerising journey that transports you from the lush green landscapes of Kerala to the enchanting beauty of Kashmir's snow-covered peaks and serene valleys.

For those of you looking for a skiing or ice skating getaway, Gulmarg is perfect. The place is home to towering evergreens and deep ravines. A thick layer of snow covers the region and is often a source of quirky snowmen. Another Hindu shrine in Kashmir is the mighty Amarnath cave, where a natural ice shivling structure forms every year. Millions of devotees frequent the place on an organised tour called the “Amarnath Yatra." With the alluring Himalayas as its home, Pahalgam is an untouched tourist getaway meant to soothe your senses and offer you the best experience of the Kashmir valley.

Ideal Duration

Kashmir has pleasant weather all year round, mainly because of its high altitude. Whether you visit during summer, winter or monsoon, you will find a lot of activities to enjoy.

Best Time to Visit Kashmir

When planning a Kashmir trip from Kerala, it's essential to consider the best time to visit this picturesque region, as Kashmir's beauty transforms with each season. Here's an overview of when to experience the magic of Kashmir at its finest:

Summer In Kashmir

Summer months of May to August are hectic for Kashmir from a tourist's perspective. The entire valley is covered in a sunny glow as red waves color the mountains and the vast meadows. Summers are not scorching hot in Kashmir, thanks to its proximity to the Himalayas. During summers, you can enjoy hiking through tree-covered trails in Pahalgam or go for a shikara boating trip in Srinagar’s beautiful Dal Lake. The average temperature in several cities of Kashmir during the day is 20 to 30 degrees and at night is 15-20 degrees.

Monsoon In Kashmir

Monsoon is not very noticeable in most parts of Kashmir. From July to September, some low lying cities experience ultra-light rainfall or humidity. The temperature during the day drops to 17-20 degrees on days when the humidity is high.

Winters In Kashmir

As known to everyone, winter sports and adventures are what Kashmir boasts of. The entire state is frigid, experiencing frequent blizzards and snowstorms. Most hotels in smaller cities remain closed in winter. The larger hotels are heated with warmers or Bukhari. Some houseboats also host tourists who reach Kashmir in winter to experience sports such as Skiing and ice skating. The temperature from November to April may often drop as low as -8 degrees. If you are fond of cold weather, a winter trip to Kashmir using a Kashmir tour package from Kerala might be perfect for you.

First of all thanks to Mr. Javed of real good time home stay who gave us a memorable and tremendous reception in his home. The condition of Homestay sanitation, food, everything was excellent and highly recommended. Mr Javed behaviour was marvelous. In sonmarg hotel rooms condition was good but they need attention on food taste and non veg stink problem, bathroom accessories like toothpaste and hand wash soap. Electric kettle was there but no sugar and tea/cofee available.plz provide it in future. Sonmarg hotel staff behaviour was very good. Houseboat condition and staff behaviour was very good. But the same problem of bathroom accessories was not there. houseboat food was very good. In houseboat Towels should be provided of white colour because brown Towers were provided to us which seems unhygienic. You should pay attention on yours drivers whom you are providing to yours customers. Plz give them guidelines that they have to drive not too fast, deep cuts should be avoided, no long phone calls while driving. One thing i want to say that we have to drop Jammu instead of katra so taxi operator demanded 1500/- extra for this. When i calculated extra distance then found that for only 50 kms extra they charged rs 1500/- which was little disappointing. Mr. Javed reception in Real good time homestay was very very memorable and nice.

Saroj's 6 days trip to Kashmir

Thanks for all the arrangements. This trip was really a memorable one and all kudos to you travel triangle teams. The hotel and houseboat in Srinagar was really good. I found the food in Dewan hotel to be very tasty and the staff being courteous. The house boat staff was good, however the food options available in the boat was limited. The hotel in Gulmarg wasn’t that good. Room was very small. However I was not at all impressed with the hotel at Pahalgam. Those staffs were unprofessional and were in denial for most of my asks. The food options and tastes are not at all great. Overall I was bit disappointed with them. The driver stayed with us the whole time and he was really a knowledgeable local person who helped us tread well in the mountains. However I would recommend him to drive slow and have patience in the traffic. I was expecting the travel agent team to inform us about the SIM card, for which we had to spend extra hours in Airport. Overall my experience was good and had a great family outings. Thanks.
