Rajasthan Tour Package From Mumbai

One of India's most visited regions, Rajasthan is, for the traveller, a way of approaching the country in its most traditional aspect but also in the majestic attitude. Land of Kings is a historical heritage that includes palaces and forts with Indo-Mughal architecture that you will be exploring as a part of Rajasthan tour packages from Mumbai.

Its semi-desert climate also allows a change of scenery: camels on desert dunes, tigers in national reserves, lakes and mountain ranges, etc. But it is also the taste of spices that enamels the taste buds and the omnipresence of spirituality that intrigues tourists. It is thus a mystery created by the richness and the unique diversity of Rajasthan which seduces tourists.

Jaipur owes its name to its founder Jai Singh II but also bears the nickname of "pink city" because the city was repainted with this colour during the visit of the Prince of Gales in 1876.

Jaipur is the showcase of Rajasthan: there are the bright colours of saris and turbans, the spice and silver merchants, and the superb Rajput and Mughal architectural mix. However, it is for the work of its blue pottery and the refinement of its jewels that the capital is famous in terms of crafts. With Rajasthan package from Mumbai, one can witness the authentic culture of Rajasthan.

Jaipur occupies this place in the tourist map of India as a result of many positive factors associated with this city. Jaipur's connectivity though its air, roads and railways with other destinations in India are excellent. Jaipur is the rich heritage ambassador and folk arts of Rajasthan, so for tourists with limited travel time visiting Jaipur gives them glimpses of colourful culture and magnificent architecture of Rajasthan. Jaipur is known all over the world for its craftsmanship particularly blue pottery and jewellery with gemstone inlay work.

Historical monuments like massive forts, beautiful palaces, intricately carved Havelis and Cenotaphs, the wells to some degree are the characteristics of the architecture of Rajasthan.

Most of these constructions were built during the Rajput Kings rule between the 10th and the 18th century. It was a dream of every powerful ruler to build a magnificent fort or palace during his lifetime. The buildings were the symbols of prestige and the glory of the rulers and the strength of the kingdom was often planned according to the strength of their forts. Also strong forts assured the safety and the security of the royal families and the local population as they served of the strong line of defence during wars. In addition to the size of the buildings many leaders have also focused on decorating buildings with good sizes and the use of gems.

Varied architectural style with regions and availability of resources. Some of the forts are strategically placed and provided with a lot of security features. The Rajasthan forts are considered some of the strongest and most beautiful forts in the world. Some of the famous forts that you can visit during your trip to Rajasthan are Chittorgarh, Kumbhalgarh, Amber, Mehrangarh, Sonar Jaisalmer Fort, Junagarh Fort Bikaner, Taragarh Fort Bundi, Nagore Fort with many other small forts located in different places of Rajasthan. So if you book your Rajasthan trip from Mumbai from TravelTriangle, you can save a lot.

The Palaces were the official residences of the Royal families, so they were equipped with all the luxuries of the time. The emphasis has been on embellishment and you can find very expensive works of mirrors and precious stones in these palaces. Some palaces were built as a construction work alone while some others have the contribution of successive rulers. Some of the major palaces of Rajasthan are Jaipur City Palace, Umaid Bhawan Jodhpur Palace, Udaipur the City Palace, and Samode Palace.

In addition to those forts and palaces that dominate the architectural scene of Rajasthan there are many other smaller constructions whose architecture is as important from these magnificent constructions. These structures include Havelis's royal families and wealthy merchants, cenotaphs, feudal lord castles, ancient temples, step wells and so on.

So we can say that the architectural treasure of Rajasthan is huge and your Rajasthan tour packages from Mumbai will be incomplete if you have not visited some of these most popular historical monuments. Jknairkerla's 5 days trip to Rajasthan

It was a wonderful trip and excellent support from Mr Chanchal Hadda. Swaroop Vilas Hotel in Udaipur was good. But not really Lakefacing. It overlooks tha connecting portion between Pichola lake and one more lake. This portion is narrow and dirty, Lakefacing is not worth it. Chacha Inn was again a wonderful stay with excellent service and ambience. Thanks
