The giant wheel that is synonymous to Singapore on all the tourism pictures is none other than the Singapore Flyer. It is a huge observation wheel located at Downtown Core in Singapore. It was opened to the public in 2008, after 2 and a half years of construction work taking place. The giant wheel or Singapore Flyer, as it is known, is made up of 28 air-conditioned capsules, where one capsule can fit in 28 passengers at one time. There is a three-story terminal building in each capsule. It is also the world’s highest giant observation wheel and is one of the most famous places to visit during a SIngapore tour.
