Multiple layers of travel agents cuts down the quality of hotels, we ended up staying at a hosteler/backpackers place at Hotel Tokyo palace, jaisalmer, then at a Oyo hotel at a highway in jodhpur (they could have put us anywhere in jodhpur but chose the dark and duty highway), had a family with 2 small kids...to add to it there was no ccordiantion between the travel agent and the hotel and the hotel reception asked us to pay Rs 2500 upfront when we had paid all installments....Then they put us up at Hotel Sagar, the funny part this hotel has no reception and there is one desk and the person sitting there behaves as if he is the landlord than a customer friendly reception deck...Bottomline introduction of multiple travel agents cut down the quality of hotel..travel triangle to tripsailor, tripsailor to xyz travel agent or probably more ended up my family getting an oyo rather than 3 star hotel promised...the driver kunwar singh was an excellent human being..do ask for him if you want to have a pleasant trip..very well behaved chap...they replaced the driver in last day and he was not good..refused to take cabs at some places..asking us to take auto instead...

Aradhanapia's 13 days trip to Japan

Thanks for a nice trip. There were many positives and nice / polite helps which enables this marvelous trip. If you want an appreciation mail, We can give a detailed one separately. In this mail we are concentrating on improvement points. There were several errors and faults/gaps that could have been easily avoided. Overall we would like to rate the trip as 3.8 out of 5 scale regarding your help and service. The points to be noted. 1 ) In the bus from Haneda airport the driver asked " which Apa hotel you are going ? ... There are many Apa Hotels ? You should have told us ( Aradhana Family and the driver ) that the Apa Hotel near Nishi Shinjuku Gochome station is where we are going. I am attaching a screenshot from google maps in this discussion. You can help your customers with these kind of screen shot maps. As we were not sure, the driver found out with lot of trying with Japanese maps. 2 ) In Haneda airport we were busy locating the driver and searching for data card, so that we can establish communication. The condition that Tokyo metro pass can be activated only from Haneda airport was a big error choice from your side. We missed that and lost that pass fully. Metro train pass can be easily bought anywhere. You should have left that option to us, in case the driver did not turn up. 3 ) For Tokyo tour the bases leaves from a building next to Shinjuku police station. The police station is very prominently known by all. While searching " Love Building " or Love sign or Love statue in front of some building we realized that almost everyone does not speak English, nor there is any building named as " Love Building ". It was 1 chome Building and on the Footpath LOVE is made by structure. 3 ) At Toyoma no one speaks English. The Boys and Girls, Men and Women in Hotel counter also do not speak English. There was big confusion to realize that our rooms were booked the Number to Annex building 1/2 km away in Toyoko Inn Hotel chain and not in the main one near the station. If it was in the building near the station it would have been only 1 km walk with lots of luggage. We had to walk 1/2 km more. There was no lock in the bathrooms of the rooms to Toyoko Inn Hotel ( annex 2 ). These kind of rooms are dangerous as can cause major misunderstanding is someone enters the bathroom, while someone else is using it. 4 ) At Nagoa The Red Planet Hotel was very nice. But very far from Main Railway station. You should have advised us to go to the Hotel by Taxi from Station. We took train to a small station and then walked more than 2 km with luggage, as we were not sure of the best choices. 5 ) In general try to communicate to people with description of multiple landmarks. Your decision of sending our passports to Bangalore office after being rejected from Delhi should have been told to us. We were not aware of these decisions taken by you. We came to know about Visa delay very late. As per our understanding of dates, you sat on our passport, without any action for almost 1 week,( at Gurgaon ) and then rushed around. This is the main reason why we rated your service as 3.8 out of 5. Thanks and Regards Aradhana and Subhashish

Chsridharrao's 10 days trip to Rajasthan

Rajasthan,This was a tour of Family and Friends with 17 people( 11 adults and 6 kids) for 10 Days and 9 Nights. We were little apprehensive of the Places, Travel and Accommodation due to group size. we could not judge what would be the best deal and who could provide the best service, but to our surprise, One stop Solution for all our requirements happen to be "SURAJ of UNIQUE TRIP MAKER". He took care of all our Trip requirements and could add Rooms everywhere with my last minute addition of the people. He has given us Good Bus, though not a great Driver. Suraj was very supportive throughout the trip and was very helpful with daily check-update of our trip status. He never shied away making the necessary changes, if required. Our Accomdations were at 1)Jaipur - Rajputana Haveli; 2) Bikaner- Jaswanth Bhavan; 3) Jaisalmer- Tokyo Palace; 4)Samdunes- Rojani Resort; 5)Jodhpur- Kuchaman Haveli; 6)Udaipur- Mukund Vilas; 7) Pushkar - Country Side Resort. I would rate all of them VERYGOOD with "JASWANTH BHAVAN @ Bikaner and ROJANI@Samdunes- OUTSTANDING" while "Kuchaman Haveli - BAD. It was my mistake of Choosing Kuchaman based on pics , though suraj insisted me to opt other one, wish we could have followed his instructions. This was a very organized trip and We, as a large group highly recommend "Unique Trip Maker" to plan vacation and we Rate 5 STARS for the service Suraj has provided. My first choice for our future Trips would be UTM- Suraj. Thanks TRAVEL TRIANGLE and UNIQUE TRIP MAKER for your OUTSTANDING service.

Mohamed's 5 days trip to Kerala

Hi guys. We had trip to kerala for 4 nights and 5days. I had booked hotel for 3 nights and houseboat for one night. Everything went fine. When I boarded the houseboat with my wife,it was so dirty and unhygienic which you can't even imagine. I told the boat driver to stop the boat and call the manager which he refused. The I contacted the HAMARA TRAVELS through whom we had booked his trip. I told them to change the boat or get us down and provide us some other means of stay that night. They said they don't have anyother boat now and they asked me to stay on the same boat. I refused and got down somehow(even the boat driver threatened as that we can't leave kerala). I was so afraid having my wife along with me and am all alone in kerala that time. For your information,I was on butterfly cruise boat which was so worst. I have all the pictures of the boats for the proof. We were forced to stay on the boat for 2hours. Having my wife by the side,it was very unsafe to proceed in that boat. Also the way boat guys were behaving can't be tolerated. I got down and nobody was there to take care of us. Neither they bothered to provide an accommodation. I have contacted both hamara travels and travel triangle regarding this issue. I will not encourage this at all. And we were not provided with accommodation on my 4th night as promised in my trip quote. Of course I can't compromise my stay on dirty boats which they offered me after paying huge amount. FYI, I paid Rs. 48000 for this trip. I was lucky that I customized this quote with hotel option because of which hotel stay was nice. This should not happen to other customer. I have asked for refund. If not,I will be forced to file a complaint against hamara travels. I Travel facilities were taken care by TOKYO TRAVELS whig was excellent service. Especially the driver Mr.PREM was very helpful and kind enough to take care of us throughout the trip. In fact he arranged the accommodation on the 4th night for which I had paid myself. First 3 days went fine. problem started when the problem arises in houseboat. worst part was the boat driver was threatening us that we can't leave kerala. myself being from tamilnadu can understand malayalam very well. I have discussed this with my family members also. They were also insisting me to file a case against this. I have asked for an explanation with refund. looking forward to the reply. If not, I will definitely file a case. And I have all the proofs to support my case. One again, before confirming your trip, make sure everything is clear especially about the services they offer.
