- Nandi Hills: Located 60 kms away from Bangalore, this place is best known for being the summer escape of Tipu Sultan. Scattered with shrines, the breathtaking landscape makes it worth a visit. Places to visit here includes Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple in Nandi village and Tashk-e-Jannat supposed to be Tipu’s summer residence. - Ramanagara: Formerly named as Shamserabad in the reign of Tipu Sultan, this place is surrounded by seven hills and rivers from all sides.
