How To Reach Auli

Auli is also famous as Auli Bugyal. It is a hilly destination for a ski resort located in the district of Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Auli is well connected with other parts of India via flight, train, and road. Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport to Auli which is located at a distance of 179 km approx. A taxi can be hired to reach Auli from the airport to cover this distance. Dehradun Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Auli. It is easily accessible, as regular trains to Dehradun can be taken from any part of India. Auli can also be reached by car or taxi from different parts of India like Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Mussoorie, etc. Buses are available from Dehradun, Delhi, Rishikesh, etc for Joshimath and from there, one can take a ropeway or taxi to reach Auli by bus. By Air

The nearest airport to Auli is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, located approximately 270 kilometres away. It is a domestic airport, suitable for domestic travellers. For international travellers, the nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Once you arrive at the airport, you’ll find taxis and buses ready to take you to the beautiful hill station. The bus will take you to Joshimath only, and from there you can reach Auli by road or by ropeway.

By Train

The nearest railway station to Auli is Rishikesh railway station, approximately 255 kilometres from Auli. The second nearest railway station is Haridwar railway station, located 278km away from Auli. You’ll find trains frequently running to these destinations, making connecting with other major cities across India easy. Once you arrive at the station, buses or cabs will readily take you to Auli.

By Road

If you’re planning to travel to Auli, going by road is a great way. One can catch a cab or bus to Joshimath, and from there you can cover the distance through the ropeway or directly by road. Joshimath has well-connected routes from all the major cities in Uttarakhand. Auli is located just 10km from Joshimath. It is important to know that roads from Joshimath to Auli in winter are blocked due to heavy rainfall. Therefore, one can opt for cable cars to reach Auli during this time.

    We had a wonderful trip for Masoorie and Rishikesh. The trip handled by SK excellently. He was one call away and always ready to help at any time. The Hotel of Rishikesh Was awesome with balcony view, also the food was nice. The Hotel of Masoorie was nice, good exterior and has amazing view. However
    some Services need to be better like gyser, Heater or blower. The Driver Salamat was nice, and Good Photographer. We have include him with us in most of activities we done. Some points left to be seen due to Rush or Time management. On last day he end trip early. But overall Experience was nice. Thanks Travel Teach for Wonderful memories. We look forward for Many more Trips in future.
