If you enjoy climbing steep steps then the trek will take 45 minutes and if you choose ropeway then it will take around 5-10 minutes. The view from the cable cars is amazing.

The distance of the Chandi Devi Temple from Haridwar railway station is 6 km. You can easily take an auto rickshaw or a taxi to reach the temple. The distance from the nearest airport which is jolly grant airport, Dehradun is 35 km. You can take an auto rickshaw or a taxi to reach the temple. If you are staying at a hotel in Haridwar then you ask the hotel to provide you transportation to reach your destination.

Many pilgrims prefer to use the cable car service on their way up as climbing the steps during the hot months can be quite exhausting. You can come by the steps on your way down.
