The distance of about 350 kilometers between Nainital and New Delhi can be covered in about a night journey.

Tourists can book their private taxis at any of the local travel agencies or even take their own cars for the trip. Even various bus service providers are present providing the tourists with bus trips between these two cities. There is a variety of buses to choose from including air conditioned, non air conditioned, VOLVO etc. The road trips to Nainital are generally preferred owing to breathtaking views one can get en route to the hill station.
