The enchanting Nainital tourism acknowledges people from all around the world. Tourism in Nainital gives one an opportunity to witness the breathtaking beauty of one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Owing to the numerous lakes scattered all over; amidst the ice – capped mountains and hills, Nainital is specifically known as the “City of Lakes”. The name Nainital, too, has been owned from the famous Naini Lake situated at the core of the district.
Nainital tourism is all about obseving the resplendent grace of far stretching plains from the elegant mountain peaks. The magnificent view of the pear- shaped, out – stretching lake, guarded by the tall pine bushes on the high rising hills, is something worth a vacation here. The cold waters of the lake readily offer the best boat rides, nurturing every sailor in her lap, with immense peace and rejuvenation. From providing the best week’s stay to dining alfresco for overnight, tourism in Nainital justifies every visit with all the better reasons.
Nainital harbors a number of wildlife sanctuaries and shining tall among them is the famous Jim Corbett National Park, which is an essential part of Nainital tourism. Also known as the Lake District, Nainital attracts the soul of many travelers to the viewpoint of Sattal, which is formed by the conjecture of seven lakes – all portraying a distinct shade of green through its water. Besides this, tourism in Nainital also includes a visit to the floating restaurants on the Bhimtal Lake.
The halt to all the activities in the city is hosted by the Mall Road, which was established by the British during their rule. Apart from this, the Tiffin Top stands tall at nearly 2290m above the sea level anchoring supreme picnic spots. The thorough details of many interesting histories are successfully disclosed to the visitors by the experienced Nainital travel guides there. The place also invites everyone to take a glimpse of the extraordinary view of the ice- capped mountains at the Snow View Point, which is elevated at 2270 m altitude.
Among the many destinations here, Nainital tour guide promises a day tour to Nanda Devi Temple, which counts amongst the “64 Shakti Peeths”.The other religious visits would be to the eminent temples of Pashan Devi Temple lying exactly opposite to the Mall Road, the mighty Hanuman Garhi quivering with the sunrise and sunset points, the oldest St. John’s Church sheltering worshippers since 1844, etc. Quenching the thirst for hikers, Nainital tourism includes a trek to the mighty Guano Hills too. The month of September books the place for one of the most ritualistic fairs known as Nanda Devi Mela. This is the hugest fair held there and is rejoiced by not only the occupants of the Kumaon foothills but also in other valleys of the majestic Himalayas. The travel guide to Nainital also welcomes the tourists to the Sharad Utsav in October, delighted with several cultural events and functions. Assisted by Nainital tourism, witness the existing innocence of the place with the festival of PhholDeli, abiding by which, the maidens decorate the main entrance of their homes with the first flower of the season. Also stand closer and observe the serene wildlife in the heart of Nainital, with sanctuaries like Eco Cave Garden, High Altitude Zoo, Pangot and Kilbury Bird Sanctuary.

Trip to UttarakhandI really wish I could have written a positive feedback for you. The start was good, everything worked as per the planning as per the expectations. Firstly, I didn't realize there would be no coordination between Hotel and the Travel Agency. There was some difference between what we were promised and what we received. There were lot of places that needed to be covered but due to lack of communication between the transport team and booking agency they misunderstood us and blamed us for everything. At the end of the journey, I was really surprised by the inhuman nature of driver and cab coordinator. I had my female friend with me and I asked for a single drop for her and clearly mentioned that please drop her at a distance which was just 15 mins away from my pick up location. I would go on my own and there is no need to go to my location. But they denied this rudely. The cab Coordinator said "It's your problem, deal with it". We were charged high for everything but that wasn't an issue at all, the issue was inhuman behaviour and the way they talked. It was not expected at all. I paid night allowance as well to the driver even if we reached well within time and we had to pay that extra amount as a night allowance. That too I didn't deny I paid everything they asked without any negotiation. But I was not happy at all by the inhuman nature of cab coordinator. He was good initially but at the end he turned out to be hostile towards us. Finally I had to take another cab for her at 1 AM. I want you to at least warn such people who don't treat humans as humans. Positives: The Resort was at an amazing Location, food quality was superb. Hotel staff service was good. The behaviour was polite. Overall it was awesome place to stay. Rafting in Rishikesh, cliff jumping in Rishikesh

Trip to UttarakhandI want to share how much I have enjoyed choosing Doon travel for my Uttarakhand trip. Indu Rawat has made my travel as painles as possible. She made sure that she has proactively resolved all the becoming bad situations. Just an FYI & pat on the back for excellent service.
Trip to UttarakhandWe had booked our trip to Uttarakhand in March through Travel Traingle and we got the best value quote from Trip Birbal. Deepak ji from Trip Birbal assisted me through out the trip and has been absolute help during the trip. We were a group of 2 families (4 adults and 2 kids) and a Toyota Innova was arranged for trip from Delhi. The driver was on time or rather before time to receive us and a wonderful person. He gave us pointers to good dhabas and restaurant on the way. Since we were getting late while reaching Rishikesh, he suggested us to take a mini halt in Haridwar and we got to see Ganga Arti at Har Ki Paidi. We stayed in Hotel Shivay (OYO) near Lakshman Jhoola. The room was ok. We had to start next day for Joshimath and we requested for an early breakfast which could not be accommodated. We got the breakfast at 8:15 AM but the breakfast was too good. Everything was fresh and they even packed a sandwich for my daughter for id way. Our journey to Joshimath started at around 9:00 AM and we took a few halts including the one at Dev Prayag where we filled a bottle for Ganga Jal. It was raining heavily and the roads are under construction so we took a little longer than expected to reach Joshimath. We called Himalayan Abode in advance and they were at the gate to receive us despite heavy rains. The food was homely with Fulkas and Dal. Very good food. When we got up in the morning, the view from rooms were superb with snow clad mountain peaks and Alaknanda river flowing by the side. Breakfast were delicios Parathas and Poha. We liked the home stay very much and the hospitality of the staff. The driver took us to few places in Joshimath including Dev Prayag, Joshimath Temple and Cable Car. We decided against taking the cable car and our expert driver took us to Blue Poppy resort. The service from Blue Poppy resort was lacking in quite a few aspects. Despite we letting them know in advance, our luggage was not picked from the cab for almost 2 hours. The rooms we were supposed to stay were not proper with bathrooms having leaked water. It took the staff couple of hours to fix that. The views from the resort was awesome and if I had to give ratings to the resort that would be only for these spectacular views and accessibility of the resort by the road. The staff was hardworking, very polite but may be they had reduced staff for some reason. They did try to take care of our demands with the means available to them. However, I do believe there was some area for improvement. They also need to clean up the cafeteria which though had very beautiful views outside, was filled with lots of flies inside the cafeteria. The food was OK and they could always do with few more food categories given it was a resort. The resort also has Hanuman temple nearby and you get to hear good Bhajans and Aarti during morning and evening. We came back to stay at Hotel Shivaya and we were given better rooms this time. The rooms on 2nd floor are better than the rooms on 1st floor. We ordered the dinner and were served with amazing food. We were told that our driver had a medical emergency and he needs to rush home so we would get a different cab to drop us to Delhi. We stayed in hotel Urmi in Haridwar and the hotel was good although about 3 Kms from Har Ki Paidi on the highway to Rishikesh. Food and Service was awesome. Rooms were awesome. Again Thank You Very Much Travel Traingle and Trip Birbal for arranging an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend!!
Trip to UttarakhandThe service was at its best except that I was not given an early morning Safari and instead an afternoon 2pm slot in Corbett.
Trip to UttarakhandI started planning for 7 people and ultimately booked the Rishikesh 2D1N package for a total of 19 people. My 2 words on the matter in a Pro/Con format - AMANTRAN camp: PROs: 1. Excellent agent support. The TT executive was there throughout to guide me through the booking process. Adjusted her schedule at late hours to accommodate my queries. 2. Detailed Itenerary. Each item promised was pre-agreed, hence saved a lot of negotiation. Everything was on mail. 3. Flexible payment installments. No upfront payment necessary. 4. Rafting was a great experience. CONS: 1. The camp staff was a bit tipsy, so we had difficulty getting food/amenities. 2. As promised, we didn't get the games on first day. We had to manage with the stuff they provided on Day 2. 3. Electricity was down. We wanted to camp but that didn't mean we didn't want electricity too. 4. We didn't get a personal guide as promised. And they didn't arrange a pick up and drop as agreed. If you want a camping experience within budget, this is the go-to option. But if you necessarily require activities. consider other camps.
