You can board New Tinsukia Express from Bangalore to Chennai, followed by catching a flight from Chennai to Port Blair. Several trains like Lalbagh Express, KSR Bengaluru, and more are available from Bangalore to Chennai.

By Road: When direct flights from Bangalore to Port Blair are not available, travellers can plan a long drive to the airport in Chennai before boarding a flight to Port Blair. Taxis and bikes can be hired for local sightseeing in Port Blair.

By waterways: Travelers looking forward for extended travel hours can also board a ship from Chennai after reaching Bangalore via train or flight as there are no direct routes to travel from Bangalore to Andaman by ship. It takes approximately 60 hours of travel which might increase as per the climatic conditions.
