About Saddle Peak in Andaman

Saddle Peak is the highest peak that is there in the entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

It is a part of a town called Diglipur that is situated in the Northern Andaman area. The peak offers a panoramic view of an abundance of natural beauty around. It is quite famous amongst the hikers and trekkers who are looking for an exhilarating adventure.

Greenery

This enchanting peak is a part of Saddle Peak National Park. The park area is dense with lush foliage and a plethora of varieties of trees. Apart from the usual tropical trees, one is able to find other kinds of trees like sandal and a plethora of rare varieties. There are many trees with wild fruits and bearings as well.

Trekking

There are many trekking opportunities in the park as well. Most of the trekkers prefer to scale the highest peak here, the Saddle Peak Andaman. The height of this peak is 2,418 feet or 737 meters. Even though the place is a great spot for the trekkers, the park is uninhabited. When gearing up for a trekking expedition here, make sure there are plenty of supplies and other preparations well intact. There are no shops or spots for refreshments in the park, so it is advisable to be one’s own provider while heading for a trekking adventure. The Saddle Peak mountain can be reached with proper preparations and maybe by taking the help of a guide. One would be amazed to know the trekking steps to the peak are naturally made from the roots of the old trees.

Overall, the package was certainly the best and we appreciate the arrangements. However, one thing was quite disappointing. As per the itinerary, our journey from Havelock to Neil Island was supposed to be by Makruzz Premium Class, but we were given tickets for Green Ocean 1 Economy Class instead. This was not fair. If the Makruzz tickets were costlier, we should have been informed and asked to pay the additional amount. Changing the ferry without informing us was not appropriate. Such changes affect the travel experience and spoil the mood of the trip. I am not sure how you plan to compensate for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Beautiful sea & beach. Complementary photoshoot. Hotels of Havelock & Neil island. On time vehicle arrangement.

I recently completed an 8D/7N Andaman trip (3 days Havelock, 2 days Neil, 2 days Port Blair) with Pearl Andaman Tours and Travels, and overall it was a wonderful experience with many great memories. One of the biggest strengths of their company is their amazing and responsive team. They are reachable even during holidays, early mornings, or late nights, which is very rare these days. Throughout the planning stage, I was in touch with Pramila Ma’am and another team member, and both of them were extremely patient and professional. Even after I made several itinerary changes, they never seemed frustrated and handled everything smoothly. Another highlight was their excellent selection of hotel properties. All the resorts arranged for my stay were really good. The Aquays properties in Havelock and Neil Island were fantastic. Although their Google rating is around 4.1, the properties themselves were excellent. In fact, the Aquays property in Neil Island was on another level — the room had a back door that opened directly to a shared swimming pool, which was extremely convenient. Since the pool was attached to the room, I ended up swimming there many times during the stay. The drivers were also very professional, punctual, and polite. I did not face any issues during the entire trip, and all transfers were handled smoothly. Another thing worth appreciating is their flexibility. I had initially planned my trip for December but postponed it to February, and they agreed to the change without any extra charges or complications, which was very helpful. Also, they have given 2 small souvenirs on the end day which is nice gesture. Overall, the entire trip went very smoothly, and I came back with lots of beautiful memories. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: - I haven’t seen much promotion or branding from them — not on their cars, T-shirts, or other places. In the travel business, advertising and visibility are very important, so investing a bit in marketing could help them grow even more. - It might also help if each morning they send the day’s itinerary on WhatsApp or provide a printed schedule, so travelers have clear visibility of the day’s plan. - Also, representative of their team was not present on the Havlock when I arrived there. I had to call them multiple times over these. Many representative of different companies like andaman experience was already present there with ply card. Kindly sort out these small things so that your customers don't have to worry about these things. That said, my overall experience with Pearl Andaman Tours and Travels was very positive, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a trip to the Andaman Islands.

Hotels were properly chosen with private beaches in two resorts in. Havelock and Neil. cars provided were cosy with disciplined drivers. Prompt action from agency staff. Overall nice experience for 6 days and 5 nights tour. Hat'off to Sai travel, portblair. Enjoyed sea activities too. Scuba driving and travel in Green ocean Ferry from portblair to Havelock.

Agent looks for maximum commission how he gets. Our Scuba was planned on other day early morning but due to commission we were told lie to do at wrong timings which disturbed our itenary and wasted time on planned day. Also missed one Ross Iland point due to mismanagement. On 1st day also wasted because no one knows everything closed on Jan 26. It was special for us and made special by us only and not because of agent or driver.
