CN Tower Tour, Toronto (Canada)
The CN Tower is the tallest tower in Canada and the ninth-highest freestanding structure in the entire world. It held the record for being the tallest for 32 long years since Needless to say, when one visits Toronto, the towering edifice of CN Tower is the first thing they notice in the city skyline. With a height of 1816 feet including the spire, and 1500 feet excluding it, CN Tower, Toronto is a landmark for not only the city or state of Ontario but for whole of Canada.
Attractions of CN Tower
CN Tower tour includes some highly adventurous attractions and activities to indulge in. The first attraction is the CN Tower Glass Floor at 1122 feet height. Here you can walk, sit, crawl or even jump over the five-times stronger glass floor or look straight down. Here there is an Outdoor Sky Terrace to enjoy the speeding wind of Toronto. On the above floor of CN Tower Canada, there is LookOut Level, which can be reached in one of the six glass-fronted elevators that will take you to 1136 feet. In this floor, you can have the most spectacular view of the Toronto city, be it day or night. The floor-to-ceiling glasses have a special feature called Thermochromic film which allows the glass to adjust to the natural light and modulate the visibility accordingly. This provides an excellent opportunity for a crystal-clear photograph. Here too is a Glass Floor directly above the one below this. 33 floors above the LookOut level, the Sky Pod is one of the highest observation platforms of the world, with a view stretching to the Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty. Here one can learn about the engineering details of CN Tower Ontario – how it moves in the wind and what happens when lightning strikes. Last but not least – the hands-free CN Tower Edge Walk is the ultimate adventure to do here. You will be encircling the 5 feet outer ledge being attached to an overhead safety rail with a harness and lean over the edge to have the most spine-chilling experience one can imagine. Complete the day with a culinary treat at the 360 Restaurant – one of the best in Toronto.
