After the increasing popularity of bungee jumping in Rishikesh, Goa Tourism Development Corporation assigned Jumpin Heights to install the bungee jumping station over the Lake Mayem in North Goa. Jumpin Heights was the first company to bring bungee jumping sport in India in Rishikesh in the year 2010. The height of the bungee jumping in Goa is 55 metres whereas it is 83 metres in Rishikesh. This bungee jumping site in Goa is at a distance of 35 minutes drive from Baga beach, due to its good location it has become very popular in no time.
Bungee jumping in Goa is a great adventure if you are trying it for the first time as here the height is comparatively very low as compared to bungee jumping in Rishikesh and other foreign destinations but it is still very thrilling and adventurous. It is advisable that only mentally and physically fit people should go for bungee jumping as this adventure sport involves high amount of risk. There is also a cafeteria at the bungee jumping site that offers light snacks to the jumpers. Bungee jumping in Goa can be enjoyed at any time of the year but is generally preferred to avoid it during the monsoon season.
