Mandrem Beach in Goa
Mandrem is a seaside village and a famous tourist spot in Pernem taluka of North Goa. The village is 30 kilometres from the state capital Panaji. The beach is located about 1 km west of Mandrem village. The white-sand Mandrem Beach in Goa actually comprises two beaches Junas Beach and Ashvem Beach. The beautiful Mandrem Beach is located between Arambol and Ashwem. Arambol Beach, popular among backpackers, lies north of Mandrem.
While Ashwem Beach, where Olive Ridley Turtles roam around, is located south of Mandrem Beach in Goa. A narrow rocky cliff reaching out into the sea separates Mandrem Beach and Arambol Beach. The Mandrem River runs parallel to the beach for about a hundred metres.
Mandrem Beach is worth visiting during the “High Tide” as the waves rush into the Mandrem Creek or River. As per places near Mandrem Beach worthy of a visit, there is a Portuguese Fort which is now a luxury hotel. Ashta Yoga Valley is a popular health centre which offers certified yoga lessons of 200 hours and 500 hours. One can enrol here for shorter and longer duration courses of their choice.
Fringed by coconut palm trees, the beach is really picturesque and the rustic charm of local fishing boats rested along the beach adds to the vibe of serenity. A bamboo bridge spans the Mandrem creek and brings travellers onto the white sands of Mandrem beach itself.
Mandrem Beach Huts
Mandrem is lined with beach shack restaurants, mainly during the tourist season in Goa. These make-shift beach huts in Mandrem are charmingly built using bamboo and coconut palms and mostly prepare fresh seafood delicacies. In the village, there are a number of authentic Goan and Konkani dishes as well as continental cuisine.
Unlike most of the beaches in North Goa, there are no water sports at Mandrem Beach for visitors. However, the waters are always ideal for a relaxing dip as long as you swim within the designated safe areas. Lazing the afternoon away and soaking up some Vitamin D are popular things to do at Mandrem Beach. Those who are looking to spend more than a day, can find places to stay near Mandrem Beach. The best time to visit Mandrem Beach is from October to March, as the water is safe for swimming.
Wildlife At Mandrem Beach
Mandrem beach is surrounded by nature on all its side. Swaying palm trees and large casuarina trees have been planted along the coast of Mandrem beach to offer it an entirely unique look. There are also various kinds of buildings near the beach which provide several water sports adventures for tourists. On the edge of the beach, you will find a variety of wildlife such as the white-bellied fish eagles that nests in the casuarina trees, kingfishers, herons, and crabs. Although Mandrem beach does not remain as crowded as other beaches of North Goa, there are plenty of attractions that will definitely offer a wonderful experience.

Sunanda's 3 days trip to GoaNorth Goa was awesome..did not like South Goa much. Awesome ambience in Baga beach. Though food was expensive but it's worth one North Goa was awesome..did not like South Goa much. Awesome ambience in Baga beach. Though food was expensive but it's worth one
Kavita's 5 days trip to GoaThe stay at hotel was good, near the beach. Cabs were comfortable and drivers were nice but can be improved more if they can guide about the schedule we have in package. I had to skip on some of the stuff mentioned. Some of the stuff like boat rides are repetitive and jetty like Dona Paula are under construction should be updated in the package. About Manish I would say he's patient to listen to both queries and complaints. He does his work in an effective way. One improvements would be if the customer is informed in advance for any changes. I would be glad to refer him to my friends whoever would like to visit Goa. The overall trip was great for me and my family especially with my senior citizen parents who enjoyed the beaches very much. And Dudhsagar waterfall was just awesome. Very thankful to Manish, for arrangements. Cab driver Mohsin shaikh, Ashish and Olencio ( travel head) and other drivers I forgot the names, Ajay and his staff at hotel to make the trip comfortable and tension free. I would recommend if the cab driver on the first day goes through the schedule for 3 days and provide suggestions as a guide. Manish you rock !!!
Sumanth's 5 days trip to GoaI took this trip through Aeroplane Hospitality. Everything promised was delivered... We did not feel any difficulty throughout the trip. The cab service was extremely good with soft spoken drivers. I would happily recommend AEHS for any travel plans in Goa Dudhsagar was amazing... Scuba at Malvan is not that good, water is not clear and corals seem to be planted ones.. rest sports are good See reviews and plan your beaches, each beach is different and you many not like many based on taste(silent or crowd friendly)

Enjoyed each and every part of the trip whether it was beaches, snow park, churches etc. Loved each and every part of the trip and was so mesmerizing. Thanks a lot Travel Triangle.
