Andaman Group Tour Packages

Andaman Group Tour Packages: rated 4.9/5 (based on 23484 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹13,341/-

Introduction

Andaman is one of India’s easiest destinations to travel as a group. Three islands sit a short ferry apart, the water sports are shared, and a single circuit splits neatly across rooms, cabs and ferries, so the per-head cost drops as your party grows.
TravelTriangle’s Andaman group tour packages are built for parties of 5 to 30+ travellers: a college batch, a corporate offsite, a large family, or a group of friends. Every package covers Port Blair, Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil (Shaheed Dweep), and every one is customisable: pick your nights, block rooms in one hotel, add group scuba slots, and get one coordinator handling ferries and transfers for the whole group. Booking through TravelTriangle means verified local agents compete to give your group the lowest per-person quote, with a group discount that scales with size. The sections that follow cover what an Andaman group trip costs per head by group size, the package types by segment, a sample group itinerary, and group FAQs.

Why choose a group tour to Andaman

A group tour to Andaman is cheaper and simpler per person than booking the same trip solo. The savings are structural: rooms move to twin- or triple-share, a single cab and ferry block is split across the whole group, and most activity operators run group slots at a group rate. The bigger the party, the lower the per-head cost, a group of 20 almost always pays less per person than a pair travelling alone.

Logistics are the other reason groups book a package rather than self-planning. Andaman runs on island ferries with fixed sailings and limited seats; coordinating 15 or 25 people across Port Blair, Havelock and Neil by yourself means chasing ferry tickets, permits and transfers for everyone. A group package hands that to one coordinator who books the room block, the inter-island ferries, the airport and jetty transfers, and the group activity slots as a single plan, so the group travels together and nobody is left chasing a sold-out sailing.

Andaman also gives a group plenty to do together: group scuba and snorkel slots, island-hopping, beach bonfire and BBQ evenings, and water sports that are more fun (and cheaper per head) as a group. That mix is why the destination suits everything from a friends’ squad to a 30-person corporate offsite.

Types of group packages by segment

  • Friends / squad trips: 4 to 12 friends; water-sports days, island-hopping and beach bonfire nights, with the per-head cost split across shared rooms and cabs. See our dedicated Andaman packages for friends for small-gang leisure trips.
  • Family groups: multi-family or extended-family parties; a gentler pace, connecting rooms in one hotel, and a mix of sightseeing and light water activities suited to all ages.
  • College / school groups: 20 to 30+ students; supervised group activities, bulk-room blocks, and a fixed group itinerary with a coordinator.
  • Corporate / offsite groups: team outings and incentive trips; same-hotel blocks, a managed agenda, optional team activities, and GST-invoiced billing.
  • Bachelor / bachelorette groups: a friends’ send-off built around water sports, a private boat day and island nightlife.

Every group package is customisable: add nights, swap a sightseeing morning for a beach afternoon, add a group scuba session or a private island-hopping boat, and rebuild the trip around how the group wants to travel.

Andaman group tour cost: per-head pricing by group size

An Andaman group tour costs roughly INR 12,000–16,000 per person for a 5N/6D land-only trip in a group of 10–15, covering hotels, inter-island ferries, transfers and listed sightseeing. The per-head rate falls as the group grows: a group of 20+ pays the lowest rate with a bulk discount, while a small group of 5–6 pays more per head. Mainland flights add about INR 8,000–12,000 per person.

Andaman group tour cost (per person, land-only, sharing):

Group size 4N / 5D (per head) 5N / 6D (per head) Typical group discount
5–9 travellers INR 13,500–17,000 INR 16,000–20,500 Base group rate
10–19 travellers INR 12,000–15,500 INR 14,500–18,500 ~10% off per head
20–30+ travellers INR 10,500–13,500 INR 12,500–16,500 ~15–20% off per head

Accommodation & logistics for large groups

  • Same-hotel room blocks: the whole group stays in one property per island (subject to availability), with twin/triple-share rooms held as a block so nobody is split across town.
  • Group ferry & transfers: inter-island ferry seats (Port Blair ↔ Havelock ↔ Neil) booked together for the group, plus shared airport and jetty transfers in a coach or tempo-traveller sized to the party.
  • Dedicated group coordinator: one point of contact managing the itinerary, ferries, activity slots and any reschedules, with on-trip 24/7 support so a 25-person group runs to one plan.
  • Group activity slots: scuba, snorkel, sea-walk and water-sports booked as group sessions at a group rate, so the whole party goes together rather than queuing individually.

Sample 5N/6D Andaman group itinerary

  • Day 1, Arrive Port Blair: group airport transfer, check in to the room block, evening at Corbyn’s Cove or the Cellular Jail light-and-sound show together.
  • Day 2, Port Blair → Havelock: morning group ferry, check in, afternoon at Radhanagar Beach for the group sunset.
  • Day 3, Havelock water-sports day: group scuba / snorkel / sea-walk slots, free time, optional beach bonfire & BBQ evening.
  • Day 4, Havelock → Neil (Shaheed Dweep): group ferry, Bharatpur & Laxmanpur beaches, Natural Bridge.
  • Day 5, Neil → Port Blair: return ferry, group shopping at Aberdeen Bazaar, farewell dinner.
  • Day 6, Departure: group transfer to Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ).

Best time for an Andaman group trip

October to May is the best window for a group trip to Andaman, with clear skies and calm seas for group water sports and island-hopping, the easiest conditions to keep a large party on schedule across ferries. December to February is peak (book the room block 30–60 days ahead for a big group). The May–September monsoon is cheaper and quieter with occasional rain and the odd rescheduled ferry, which can suit a budget-led college or corporate group that can flex a day. Mr's 5 days trip to Andaman

Overall Experience: While the itinerary ultimately covered all the promised destinations, the first few days of the trip were highly stressful due to poor breakfast service, below-average accommodations, transportation discrepancies, and lack of support from both the booking partner and local agent
s. 1. Breakfast Service (First 2 Days) Day 1: My flight timings changed, and I requested an early breakfast, which was denied. While I understood the policy, it set a disappointing tone. Day 2: We had an early morning checkout to travel to Havelock Island. We were provided a packed breakfast consisting only of low-quality bread, butter, jam, and a packed mango juice. This was highly unsatisfactory. 2. Havelock Island Accommodations & Itinerary Delays Resort Quality: The resort provided on Havelock Island was extremely poor. The rooms felt like below-average huts, resulting in a terrible experience. Service Delay: It took almost an hour of arguing to get our room changed. Lack of Local Agent Support: Because of the room change, our itinerary ran late. The local agent asked why we were running late and insensitively suggested we should have gone on the tour first and changed rooms later. It is unreasonable to expect guests to go out without freshening up first. 3. Transport Issues Havelock Island: We were initially given an Alto to travel to Radhanagar Beach, which did not match what was promised during booking. After confronting the agent, they upgraded us to a Scorpio for the return journey to the resort. Neil Island: The driver on Neil Island was incredibly rushed, constantly forcing us to hurry through our sightseeing because he had another group of guests waiting for his next trip. 4. Discounts and Financial Discrepancies We were promised a 40% discount on water sports activities, but this was not honored. We were forced to pay the full price/whatever rate was quoted on-site, with zero assistance from your team. 5. Booking Partner & Coordinator Support The resort provided on Neil Island was very good, and the final legs of the trip went smoothly. However, the travel partner we booked through provided almost no assistance during the trip. It felt like we had to figure everything out on our own, and we were left entirely at the mercy of the local agent. Conclusion The lack of coordination, poor initial accommodations, and unhelpful local support made the first few days of our vacation incredibly uneasy and stressful. I expect a formal response regarding the unhonored discounts and the standard of service provided

Gaurav's 6 days trip to Andaman

I recently booked a trip to the Andaman Islands through Island Retreat Holidays, and it was an absolutely seamless and memorable experience. From start to finish, the coordination was top-notch. A huge shout-out to Ms. Shivani for her exceptional planning. She managed every detail of our itinerary—
from the ferry bookings to the hotel stays and cab transfers—making the entire trip wonderful and stress-free. The ground support was equally impressive. I’d like to give a special mention to our driver in Port Blair, Mr. Akhter, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. We also appreciated the assistance of Mr. Raju, who helped us plan our activities at Elephant Beach, and Mr. Chand for his support at Neil Island. The professionalism and hospitality shown by the entire team were outstanding. I highly recommend booking with Island Retreat Holidays to anyone planning a trip to the Andamans, and I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends!

FAQs About Andaman Group Tour Packages

What is the minimum group size to book an Andaman group package?

Most Andaman group tour packages start at a group of 5 travellers, with the best per-head rates and group activity slots unlocking from around 10 people. There is no hard upper limit, TravelTriangle handles college, school and corporate groups of 20 to 30+ with bulk-room blocks and a dedicated coordinator.

Are group or bulk discounts available, and how much?

Yes, the per-person price falls as the group grows because rooms, cabs and ferries are shared and activity operators offer group rates. A group of 20+ typically pays the lowest per head, with a bulk discount of roughly 15–20% versus a small group of 5–6. Ask your TravelTriangle agent to quote the group rate for your exact party size.

How much does an Andaman group tour cost per person?

An Andaman group tour costs roughly ₹12,000–₹16,000 per person for a 5N/6D land-only trip in a group of 10–15, covering hotels, inter-island ferries, transfers and listed sightseeing. Larger groups of 20+ pay less per head; mainland flights to Port Blair add about ₹8,000–₹12,000 per person.

s the package suitable for a school, college or corporate group?

Yes. TravelTriangle runs Andaman group tours for college and school batches and corporate offsites, with bulk-room blocks in one hotel, a fixed group itinerary, supervised or managed group activities, a dedicated coordinator, and GST-invoiced billing for corporate bookings.

Can we customise the itinerary for our group?

Yes, every Andaman group package is customisable. Pick your nights, room-sharing setup, add a group scuba day or a private island-hopping boat, swap a sightseeing morning for a beach afternoon, and the trip is rebuilt around your group’s size, pace and budget.

What is the best time for an Andaman group trip?

October to May is the best time for an Andaman group trip, with calm seas and clear skies for group water sports and island-hopping. December–February is peak (book the room block early). The May–September monsoon is cheaper and quieter with occasional rain and rescheduled ferries, which can suit a flexible budget group.

Is TravelTriangle safe to book an Andaman group tour with?

Yes. TravelTriangle has served 40 Lac+ travellers since 2011 through a network of verified local agents who compete to give your group the lowest per-head quote. Every group package is customisable, with group discounts, a dedicated coordinator, free cancellation and 24/7 on-trip support.

How many days do we need for a group trip to Andaman?

Five to six nights is ideal for a group trip to Andaman. A 5N/6D Port Blair + Havelock + Neil route gives a large group enough time for island-hopping, a group water-sports day and beach evenings without rushing ferries; a 4N/5D Port Blair + Havelock route works for a shorter trip.

Can our whole group stay in the same hotel?

Yes group packages block twin- or triple-share rooms in one property per island (subject to availability) so the whole group stays together rather than being split across town. For very large groups, the coordinator holds a room block at a group-friendly hotel on each island.

How early should we book an Andaman group package?

Book a group package 30–60 days ahead, and earlier for peak season (December–February) or groups of 20+. Early booking secures the room block, group ferry seats and the best per-head rate; large groups in peak months can sell out of same-hotel availability if left late.

Is Andaman safe and good for large groups?

Andaman is well suited to large groups: short ferry hops between three islands, group water-sports slots, and a dedicated coordinator handling ferries, transfers and the room block. It is one of India’s safer, easier-to-coordinate group destinations, the main constraint is fixed ferry sailings, which a group package books ahead for the whole party.
