How to Reach Dwarka Lighthouse

Since Dwarka is a very important city in terms of pilgrimage as it is one of the Char Dham and a Sapt puri as well. The city has constant visitors and hence it is well connected to the rest of India. The city has many tourists flocking to its embrace for the rich colourful culture that the city has along with the divinity and serenity of the temples and the beaches respectively.

The Jamnagar airport is very near to the city. The city can be reached from the airport by means of a taxi from the airport. There are many taxis available from there to the city.

The city is very nicely and efficiently connected by means of railway to the rest of India and many trains pass through and have their destination at Dwarka thus reaching by train is also an option.

The city of Dwarka is also well connected by means of roads thus one can also reach by means of his/her own vehicle.

The major question that arises that what to do after one reaches Dwarka. How to reach the Dwarka lighthouse?

Well once one reaches Dwarka, reaching the Dwarkadheesh temple is easy as the temple is the main attraction of the city and a very famous spot. From the Dwarkadhish temple the Dwarka lighthouse is just about 1.5- 2 kms.

There is a motorable road leading up to the lighthouse and thus it can be accessed easily. One can take taxi from the Dwarkadhish temple or walk from there.

One can directly reach the temple by means of taxi from the Jamnagar airport as the airport is at a distance of about 130 kms from the lighthouse.

The lighthouse is a distance of about 3 kms from the Dwarka railhead. Thus, there are many options to how to reach the Dwarka lighthouse. It all depends upon the tourist who is in the city or visiting the city, that how he/she wants to reach this serene place on the shores of the Arabian sea.

I had a great trip to part of Gujarat. My main agenda of the trip was to visit Rann of Kutch and I included local sight seeing in Ahmedabad. My travel and stay in Bhuj and Rann of Kutch was managed Diu Holidays, assisted by Anjali. I had a good experience with the travel agency - she was available

on call for any of my planning and queries related to travel. The hotel in Bhuj was the best. It has been recently renovated with beautiful decor and good service. Rann of Kutch tent stay was great, but the tent itself was average. It is quite old and needs basic improvements to the faucets in the washroom, and AC maintenance. It was clean and the people managing the property were helpful, food was great and entertainment in common area was also good. Overall I had a good break taking this short trip to Gujarat.
