How to Reach Triund Hill in Dharamshala

Triund is one of the major tourist hotspots of Dharamshala, and if you are wondering how to reach Triund Hill, then read on. It has perfect views of the Kangra valley on one side and Dhauladhar mountains on the other. You can pitch your tent here and enjoy the glittering view of the night sky while breathing in the fresh mountain air. The trek from McLeodganj to Triund will involve a steep ascent of 1,100 metres, covering nearly 8 kms, but you will get to trek amongst oak and rhododendron trees. The best time to go on the Triund trek is during the summer season from March to June when the weather is pleasant and cool. It takes no more than 5 to 6 hours to complete the trek.

If you are wondering how to reach Triund hill, you will first have to travel to McLeodganj. There are regular local and VOLVO buses to McLeodganj and you can book your tickets online. You can also take a shared cab to McLeodganj from Dharamshala. If you are traveling by train, the closest airport to here is Pathankot Railway Station and you can take a cab to Dharamshala and then to McLeodganj.

    Every thing was fine, but cad driver stopped every day at the shop to buy activities passes which are too costly , these activities we buy at the site of actively at very low price ,, cab driver want only commission from their fix shop,, at last day the cab driver are changed , and saying wait for 1
    -2 hours ,, ours train at 6:15pm from Chandigarh, and our cab driver at Kullu at 12:00 pm and said wait for some time ,, finally the new aasigned driver came and he drove fast to reach at destination ,, he drop me at out side of station and saying the parking charges are included in package and he drop out at main road.. Site views ,snow,photograph, golden night in hotels , and so on
