About Triund Hill in Dharamshala
Let the spellbounding beauty of the Triund trek route in the Kangra valley and the Dhauladhar hills, near Dharamshala, Himachal enchant you. This serene and majestic trek offers panoramic views of the hills from the top at various times of the day – moonrise, dusk, and dawn. Trek through the lush green rhododendron and oak forests and enjoy a steep and challenging adventure. The best time to go on the Triund Hill Trek is during the summer season from March to June as the weather is pleasant and cool and not too chilly.
It takes about 2 days and 1 night for you to finish this trek and completely explore this area though you can go for shorter durations. There are several attractions you must view on this trek including Shri Kunal Pathri Devi Temple, Gallu Devi Temple, Bhagsu Waterfalls and Shiva Cafe. If you are not very keen on going on the steep parts, just complete the first 5 kilometers of the Triund trek as they are simple and very undulating. After these 5 kilometers, the trek gets steep because of the 22 sharp curves. So, go ahead and pack those sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes and get set trekking to the top of this grand hill and get that adrenaline rush!
