The nearest airport to Kasauli is Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh, at a distance of about 69.3 km. Take a flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IXC) in Delhi to Chandigarh which takes about 1 hour on the flight journey. There number of flight operators who provide daily flights from Delhi to Chandigarh. You can then opt for a bus or a cab which will take around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach Kasauli from Chandigarh Airport.

By Train

For those who are wondering how to reach Kasauli from Delhi, the nearest railhead to Kasauli is Kalka Railway Station at a distance of about 25.7 km. Take a train from Delhi to Kalka which will take around 5 hours on the train journey. There are a number of trains that ply daily to Kalka from Delhi. You have to then opt for a bus or a cab which will take 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Kasauli from Kalka Station.

By Road

The distance between Kasauli and Delhi is 288 km. You can opt to self-drive or hire a cab. It takes about 5.5 hours on a road journey via NH44 from Delhi to reach Kasauli.

Delhi To Kasauli By Bus: Unfortunately, there are no buses available that connect the two cities directly.

However, you can take a bus to Chandigarh from Delhi and then another bus from Chandigarh to Kasauli. There are a number of buses available for these routes.

His extraordinary ability to drive on the hills was proved when we found ourselves on a really narrow and steep broken cement road to our way to our Dharamshala hotel. The road where only Altos can go up the steep and narrow road, he was able to take a fully loaded Innova with 7 people up that road, navigating extremely tight hair pin bends.
