How To Reach Old Manali

If you are wondering how to reach Old Manali, read on to find out. Old Manali is located 3 kms away from the Manali town, and you will have to walk uphill across fruit orchards to reach it. As you cross a bridge over the Manalsu River, you enter into the beautiful old-fashioned world of Old Manali. There are a plethora of small cafes as soon as you cross the bridge, where you can sit and enjoy a decadent meal with beautiful views of the river flowing beneath you.

There is only one main road in Old Manali, and it is bordered by shops on both sides, selling antiques, jewelry, wooden artifacts, souvenirs, diaries and much more. It is not possible to get here via vehicles, so you will have to walk to Old Manali, if you want to enjoy this paradise like place.

    Trip was mostly hassle free apart from the last day. Driver had not received payment as he was asked to collect payment in cash from me, however I had already done the final payment online the previous day. I had to make numerous calls to both Travel Triangle and North India tours to get things sort
    ed. Please make sure such things don't happen in future.

    Overall, the trip was good. However driver assigned was not professional. At certain places there were rash drivings. Coming to the accommodation, the hotels were well chosen. Especially the one for manali and dalhousie were the best with mesmerising scenic views. However for the hotel in dharmashal
    a, the room was not provided as agreed before the trip and we had to face a lot of issues. Overall, the trip was memorable. However, would suggest improvements in terms of assigning good drivers, since thats also an essential part of the trip. Accommodation for manali and dalhousie was too good. Solang valley visit was memorable.
