Weather of Manali:-

Weather in Manali generally remains pleasant and apt for travelling throughout the year. Days are a bit warm during summers with a temperature approximately 25 degree Celsius, and nights are cold in winters as low as -2 degree Celsius. You can witness snowfall during winters. There are heavy rainfalls during monsoons. However, it is preferable to check the weather for the time of your journey.

Food in Manali is influenced by the nature and a number of cultures in the hill station. Being in the Himachal state, the Himachali culture and traditions dominantly influence the food. Hindu festival of Dusshera, Baisakhi and Lohri are also celebrated with great devotion by the Manali people.

Both cruiser bikes like Bullet and sport bikes from Honda, Bajaj, Yamaha etc are easily available. Exploring Manali on a motor bike with the pleasant climate of Manali is probably the best option if you are an adventure lover. Most of the places in Manali are easily accessible by the motorbike.

Moreover, public transport is not so good. Though the bus services are cheap, but they are not so frequent.

Shopping in Manali:-

Manali has many markets spread in both New and Old Manali. They sell keychains and name plates which can be customized to one’s own message and are surely worth buying as mementos. Surprisingly, one can get his name carved/written on just a single grain of rice. For woollen clothing, one can head to the Manali Market that has sweaters, blankets and other woollen stuff to offer. And on the other side, Old Manali sells hippie clothing and accessories with a huge variety to choose from.
