Rome is known for its beautiful architecture and history; it is visited by millions of tourists coming from everywhere in the world. Apart from the several monuments, Rome is also famous for its colourful food markets, vintage markets, and flea markets. No travel is complete without visiting markets in the city. Always go to any of these markets with a local so that you get things for a good price.
If you love collecting vintage goods, head over to Portici market. It is open from 7am to 7pm on the first and third Sundays of every month. You will have to do a little research around but this place sells one of the best second hand jewellery and clothes. You will also find silk scarves, lace, and crystals here. Portici Market is no less than a dream for fashion lovers.
Campo de Fiori Market
Campo de Fiori is one of the Rome’s oldest grocery markets, existing for more than 400 years. Even if you do not want to buy any fruits or vegetables, going there early in the morning and rubbing shoulders with locals is a refreshing experience. Fontanella Borghese Market
Fontanella Borghese Market is another market where you will find great vintage buys. You will find vintage maps, globes, iconic old newspapers and magazines, and unique presents to take home. At Porta Portese Market, you will literally find anything under the sun. One of the best finds there are vintage photo frames, clothing, and vinyl, but you will have to do a little bit of bargaining.
