About Bull Temple in Bangalore

The bull temple in Bangalore is one of the most popular temples of Bangalore. It is also known as the big bull temple or the Nandi Temple of Bangalore. When talking about the bull temple history, it is noteworthy that mythology says that the river Vrishabhavati originated at the feet of Nandi. It is one of the oldest temples in the city, and also one of the very few temples in the entire world that is dedicated to Nandi, the Bull, who is the vahana (mount) of Lord Shiva. Since Nandi holds very high significance for Lord Shiva, this temple is very important for the devotees of Lord Shiva.

The Basavanagudi Bull Temple is built in the Dravidian architectural style, and its construction was initiated by Kempe Gowda. One very important aspect of the temple is that the entire statue of the bull was sculpted out of a single granite block. The statue is 6.5 meters long and 4.5 meters high. The granite block was initially grey, but over the years, after having being bathed in and rubbed with butter and coconut oil, it has turned the deepest hue of black.

There are several festivals that are held at the Bull Temple in Bangalore, such as the Kadalekai Parsihe, which is a celebration of the sacred spirit. The prasadam offered at the Big Bull Temple Bangalore is groundnuts, which are the favorite snacks of Nandi Bull.

th March saying the agency didnot pay the balance amount to them, even though everything was paid to agency before trip itself. transport team called me frequently saying agency is not responding to them. when i tried to contact Rakesh from Dream yatra I could not connect via call to his number, later when I finally got touch with him on whatsapp and told him the transport is calling me frequently, he was so rude, told me to inform the transport team myself that payment will be released on monday which is his duty. He later told me directly not to call him again for this matter even though transport team is calling me frequently for update. Is that a customer duty to take care of bills to third party even after paying everything to agency?? such a unprofessional agency it is. and this portal wont let me submit the review unless i give good star rating to agency what kind of a stupid service is this.
