Trekking in Gulmarg
Being surrounded by Himalayas, Gulmarg in Kashmir is a perfect place of trekking for adventure seekers. Pir Panjal Range also known as Naga Parbat is the most popular trek trail in Gulmarg. It will look round when you approach the range but as you move forward you can find its view keeps on changing. It will give you the feel of Himalayas while trekking.
Trekking in Gulmarg is not complete without going to Khilanmarg valley which gives you a beautiful view of Kun & Nun peaks in the south-west along with the mesmerizing view of Nanga Parbat. Trekking along Alpather Lake takes you to another world but go to this lake only after June since it is frozen till June. The Ningli Nallah is a big mountain stream and full of grass hence it is preferred for camping too. During spring, usually there is rain in Gulmarg which will melt the snow. Hence it is not advisable to go on trekking in Gulmarg during this period.
