About Historical Places in Madhya Pradesh

From Khajuraho monuments to Sanchi Stupa, there is no dearth of historical places in madhya Pradesh. Gwalior Fort, Lal Bagh Palace, Hindola Mahal, Rajwada, and the Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka are some of the top historical monuments of Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho sculptures are arguably the most popular monuments of Madhya Pradesh.

Dating back to the Stone Age, the prehistoric rock paintings of Bhimbetka find a top spot among the famous monuments of Madhya Pradesh. The history of Sanchi Stupa is more than 2,300 years old and dates back to the Maurya kingdom. The Khajuraho temple history illustrates the rich culture of Chandela rulers in the medieval India. Khajuraho temples are known for their elaborately carved sculptures of Indian gods and goddesses as well as some erotic sculptures. Man Singh Palace in Gwalior is known for its unique décor, while Gwalior Fort dates back to the beginning of the 6th century.

Orchha and Mandu are also some of the best historical places to visit in Madhya Pradesh. Jahangir Mahal showcases architectural styles of the Bundelas and Mughals.     Faced some issues in hotels. There was no power supply so hotel supplied the power by generator. But generator back wad not supported to AC and Geyser so we took bath with cold water. WiFi at room was totally out of order for all 4 days. Nice food at Hotel. Driver was very co operative
