About Tanjung Rhu Beach in Langkawi

Nestled amidst the tranquil and serene atmosphere is one of the most beautiful beaches in Malaysia called the Tanjung Rhu Beach. This beach is perfect for someone who is seeking seclusion and peace as the beach is secluded with very little or no crowd. Tanjung Rhu Beach is fringed with Casuarina trees which acts like a beautifying agent for this beach. This emerald blue white sandy beach is an epitome of perfectly painted canvas and is a must visit place in Langkawi. The name of this beach itself defines its beauty as Tanjung means cape in Malay language and Rhu means casuarina trees.

Tanjung Rhu Beach Activities

The beach offers stunning views of the sunset which can be captured without any hindrance. It is most suitable for couples as there would be no one to disturb them and they can enjoy the serene walk hand in hand walking on the glistening sand of the beach. One can anytime feel the cool breeze on the beach coming from the Indian Ocean which gives a fresh feeling every time to visit this beach. Tanjung Rhu Beach activities include swimming and snorkeling. The water here is shallow which is great for swimming. There is no restriction and one can swim here as long as they want. Snorkeling is also possible here to witness the exotic marine life.

There is also a small eatery shop near the beach selling Malay dishes, snacks and fresh coconut water. One can enjoy having relishing sacks here while admiring the natural beauty of the beach. There beach is also adorned with various small islands and the nearest of them is the Pulau Chabang island which can be visited when the water level recedes. The Tanjung Rhu beach in Malaysia is just perfect to spend some quality time with your family, spouse or even alone when there is no one to disturb you and there is no barrier between you and nature.

    I had booked my honeymoon package with the Sharing Travels. The travel itinerary was good as shared before. Langkawi was excellent but KL wasn't up to the expectations. It felt like a waste of time and money. KL can be explored on a self-basis much better than taking a package. Ginting highlands are
    good for kids and not for couples. The city tour was worst when the cab driver himself was amazed why such an odd time slot was given. Otherwise felt relief of mind by booking the package. More options should have been given to choose from and a travel guide should have been welcomed
