Cable Car Tour in Langkawi, Malaysia

Each cable car has a capacity of 6 persons and it runs with a frequency of one cable car ride every half an hour. The cable car completes the whole tour in two parts. The first part gets completed at the middle station at a height of 650 metres. As your ride starts, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the scenery, the clear skies, pure waters of the sea, waterfalls and the birds on the ridges as well. The slope of the first part is more as compared to the second part of the trip which is supposed to be from the middle station to the peak.

As you reach the top, you will come across two viewing platforms which are opposite to each other providing you with full 360 degree view of this beautiful paradise. Get amazing views of the towering mountains, caves and the cliff walls. Find some traces of Indonesia towards south west and Thailand towards north.

Witness the unique works of engineering as you see the Langkawi Skybridge which an astonishing curved suspension bridge. Reach the bridge from the top station and walk on the bridge to absorb a whole new perspective of the place. You can also indulge in a walking trail which they call it as Sky Trail which goes down via the middle station, around 2.2 kilometres stretch. Another marvelous feature at the Langkawi Cable Car is the Skydome, a 11-metre fulldome theatre offering a spectacular 6D projections of the galaxy and some other astronomical mysteries with the help of 12 projectors. It is of 10 minutes duration.
