Delve into the history of Ho Chi Minh City as per this 12 days Vietnam itinerary

Kickstart your day with a healthy breakfast and set off to explore the myriad attractions of the city, each seeped in historical significance. Begin the sightseeing with Reunification Palace (initially Independence Palace), which has witnessed two severe wars against the French and American colonists. From here, move to other beautiful edifices like Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office – adjacent structures and significant symbols of HCMC. War Remnants Museum is another visit worthy place included in your 4 days Ho Chi Minh itinerary that introduces you to grim facts of the war but the visit is informative.

By the time you explore these attractions, it is time for lunch. Savor a delicious spread with your loved ones around before heading to Cu Chi Tunnels. Your exploration inside these tunnels is followed by a short introduction and a video explaining all about these tunnels. The tunnel system extended from the South Vietnamese capital to the Cambodian border at its peak. Crawling through these tunnels is fun but sobering at the same time as you get a glimpse of life lead here by local soldiers. Today, these underpasses are pilgrimage passageways for Vietnamese students and Communist Party squads. After you are done with interiors of these tunnels, refresh yourself with a special tea accompanied by cassava (guerilla’s food) included during your Ho Chi Minh city itinerary 4 days. If you want, try hands on shooting gun.

Later, return to Ho Chi Minh City for a relaxing night stay.

Tip: Try visiting these tunnels as early as possible to avoid crowds inside.

I was recommended Travel Triangle and Bamboo Hat by my friends, who had availed of their services for a similar travel a few years back. Travel Triangle facilitated the quotes from the agents in Vietnam and out of the three secured, I chose Bamboo Hat. Sophie of Bammboo Hat was extremely fast in her responses and answered all queries with complete clarity. The itinerary submitted to us was accepted after some modifications to suit our requirements. Once we landed in Caambodia and Vietnam, everything went like clockwork precision and we had no problems at all on that count. The guides were all knowledgeable and explained the various sights satisfactorily. The hotels were all pretty good and services and facilities provided were upto expectations. Sophie saw to it that all web check ins were done in the internal flights over there and messaged on a daily basis to ensure that everything was in order. All in all, a very enjoyable trip and we would like to thank Sophie for ensuring that the whole trip was comfortable and smooth.

It was a wonderful experience with S Vietnam Trip for my visit to 12 days Vietnam trips. First of all Melinda helped me a lot for choosing the correct destinations as per my need. She patiently replied all my queries and helped me to find best things among available options. After reaching Vietnam, I didn't have to ask them for any things because before I arrived at any location, their representatives called me in advance for pick up at airport, hotel, city tour, destinations, and places to visit. It was a smooth trip because of you all guys. Thanks to Melinda, Tina and Tracy for all your help and support. Thanks a lot

Srinivasa's 14 days trip to Vietnam

Recently I completed my 2 weeks trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. As I was travelling with my family of 11 members for this trip, I had opted for Private transfers and Private tour everywhere. From Travel Triangle, I received 3 Tour Agencies. 2 of those where in discussion with me while the 3rd Agency hardly was communicating with me. Among these 2 Agencies Michael from SVietnam Trips was the only one who was actively in contact with me and I ended up booking my trip with him. My Trip guide Harvinder from Travel Triangle reached out to me only during initial payment. Before and after that no follow up from Travel Triangle. Would like to take few names and express my feedback. Michael from SVietnam Trips: Right from the day tour agencies got allocated, Michael had been in contact with me. No matter how late it may get in the night, he would never forget to respond and tries closing out my queries. As my travel group was big with different age group and difference choice of places, I had to do lot of research on my own to handpick few places which are not in the common itinerary any agencies would provide. Michael was very co-operative and patient while accommodating all my changing needs and itineraries. Wherever he lacked knowledge he tried gathering info and suggested me on my itineraries. He ensured he would be available over the phone throughout my trip and he lived up to this expectation. When we visited Ha Noi, he had come to airport to greet us and also gave me a local SIM newly bought for me free of cost. On the next day as promised, he had visited our hotel and took me to a Currency Exchange place where he had got me very good rates and also helped me in getting Indian Dinner parcel in his own vehicle. On the last day of our Ha Noi stay he had come to a mall where we took a pit stop and helped us with shopping and guiding in the mall. Throughout our trip, every day in the evening he used to check with us on how our trip went and if any help needed. My family and I liked all of these gestures including his personal visit whenever we needed his help and showing that extra care which I hadn’t experienced from any other travel agencies I had traveled before. This is where he went an extra mile to ensure quality service assured by him is provided. Very impressive and would highly recommend him for your Tours. To say a few words about Tour Guides, we were lucky to have got very good tour guides in every place we traveled which I would recommend except for the guide in Ho Chi Minh City. Nak in Cambodia, Thuy in Sapa, Chung in Ha Noi and Linh in Da Nang & Hoi An were very friendly, happy going, informative and approachable. They made us feel very comfortable and ensured we had good time in our tour enjoying every place covered in the itinerary. Special Notes: -> Thuy in Sapa: My aunt and MIL were senior citizens who were finding it difficult to climb the stairs, Thuy took an extra step and special care to assist them everywhere while climbing and walking. My aunt felt blessed to have such a person holding her hands and helping her to walk everywhere slowly at her comfort. When one of us lost our mobile phone in a Cable car, he stood by us and helped co-ordinating with customer service and housekeeping until we got back our phone. -> Chung in Ha Noi: He was always smiling guy. Stayed with my aunt to take care of her and kept addressing her as ‘Mumma’ which made my aunt feel very touchy for his special care & attention. -> Linh in Da Nang & Hoi An: She was very joyful and cheerful. Once when we got late in the night after our day trip, she and her friend helped in booking pickup cab for us and followed up till we reached out hotel. The tour guide named Lucky in Ho Chi Minh City compared to others we felt was okayish. She wasn’t that informative and wasn’t much open to us. Example: In Cu Chi tunnel when we saw other guides stopping in each & every spot explaining for 5-10 min in detail, Lucky was just skipping explanation for those places and was asking us to see and understand the instruction board. We had to ask her on most of those spots which she skipped to specifically share some info as other guides where explaining few details. Overall we weren’t happy with Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Despite this place having a huge historical significance, the guide made it look very basic by giving very limited information. From Travel Triangle, I am not happy at all for their service. Apart from follow up for initial payment, I dint see any effort from them or their Trip guide to enquire whether my trip was started, how my trip was going on and whether my trip ended well or not. Except the system generated formality emails on payment and feedback, no communication from their team. Overall I would say we had a fabulous trip and very good experience with SVietnam Trips. All thanks to Michael for extending his care & support throughout our trip. If I have to take another trip, I would rather go directly to Michael from SVietnam Trips than any other agencies or even Travel Triangle.

Both Emily and Tina from the team was in touch and kept updating the itinerary and transport details and all the transfers were smooth. The hotels and cruise they have chosen was best. Thanks to svietnam team

SVietnam Tours Jenna Phuong was exceptional in her approach and follow up and service. Very good trip and arrangement made by her. We didnt have to worry about anything at all. Good location for the hotels and very competitive pricing. Highly recommended

My parents and I had a wonderful 12-day trip to Vietnam and Cambodia arranged by travel triangle and 'Authentic Asia Tours'. Rossie from AAT was always available over WhatsApp to revise the itinerary multiple times and promptly responded to all our queries during the trip. She even provided recommendations for our leisure days. All the drivers provided to us were professional and arrived for timely pick-ups. Our family is vegetarian and we had no issues with food options during our trip. Some of the hotel options could be better in terms of cleanliness and service, but Overall we would highly recommend this trip to everyone.

Overall it was an amazing tour ever. It was my first solo tour....very well managed by my tour manager Ms. Rossie from Asia Authentic tours. Never had any problem during my tour to Vietnam and cambodia. Keep up the good work Ms. Rossie. Every city I traveled it was timely pick up n drop and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. Would want to travel with Asia authentic again ....missing you Ms. Rossie. Keep up the good work. Almost every city I traveled can never b forgotten....it was an amazing experience. Ankor wat in Siem reap was truly great place to visit....

Very well organized trip. No hidden costs - delivery per plan. Ms Hannah Vu was prompt and did great job in organizing the same. At broad level - Vietnam is an awesome country in terms of - people, places, experiences & food.

Very bad service from travel Triangle. For any help had to depend only on the 3rd party agent as your app is not working and yet you charge for service when there is no service. FIX YOUR SHOP!!

We had an excellent trip ...all vehicles were there on time. The hotels were located in centre of the city and hence had no difficulty in movement on our own. I would like to appreciate Phuyong the lady in Vietnam who was always in touch with us and gave us the best of the services. I would recommend her name for appreciation and would suggest her to my friends and family who would travel to Vietnam. All in all a very enjoyable trip . We loved all the places but was super impressed by the cable car at PhuQuoc which carried us from the water park. The cable car station and the outer portion of it was a delight. Would love to come back to Vietnam again. Also enjoyed the cruise at Halong Bay.

Sophie from Bamboo Hat tours was helpful. Few things that did not go well was that : 1. Some of the locations like Bana hills was foggy and was not worth the time in December. This could have suggested to avoid. 2. If a list of places of self tour could be said and the timing to visit them and charges were explained earlier we would have planned properly for the places. Sapa and the trek was the best, Ninh Binh, Hanoi city tour on weekend.

The assistance and support provided by Jenny from LVP Travel for my Vietnam tour was very good. It was a 11 day tour covering 5 different places. The entire tour was completed smoothly. Sunset at Halong Bay from the viewpoint of tiptop Island.
