Imran's 6 days trip to Kerala

House boat in aleppey was a big disappointment, what we see in pictures and what we recieved is totally different. There were six families in sharing boat and the only 3 staff who don't understand English or Hindi. The food provided was bad and by the time we went for taking food some items were over . The driver: his duty of dropping at the required place was done promptly. We had a kid of 5 who was having vomiting sensation due to the ghat road, irrespective of noticing this he didn't halt anywhere. His primary duty was to drive non stop n drop us. Aranyaka Resort was good.

The best part of the tour was Driver provided to us, he has all the knowledge of good vegetarian hotels during the trip. The hotels provided were also good. Overall it was a worthy trip The Driver He knew everything about our places, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam and Trivendrum. He knew exactly where to go for vegetarian food. He was very calm and humble. Played Hindi songs for us. Great Experience

Houseboat washroom floor tiles are coming out and water is not coming proper on tap. Food was very normal and we have requested for paneer vegetable and they have denied to prepare it. They haven't taken houseboat in morning for 1 hour in backwater as well. Munnar and Kovalam are the best place to visit.

We had a wonderful time in Kerala and had a great person in Manisha who helped us make the right decisions. The stays at "Coffee Routes" and "Dream Catcher resort" were cater made for a grand gateway from the bustling surroundings and busy life and we cannot thank "there holidays there" and Manisha in choosing these exotic places for us. The weather was a spoilsport at Alleppey but we had a nice comfortable stay in the houseboat. Slight issues with the the AC functioning in the houseboat but that was a local issue. Manisha checked with us at each stopping point during the trip and made additional arrangements when we requested for a different pick-up/drop-off point. A very memorable and wonderful trip for me and my family. There Holidays There and TT are highly recommended for anyone"s Kerala tour from a very satisfied me :)

Thanks Rahul for making our trip to Kochi, munnar, Alleppey and kovalam so wonderful. He was very helpful n supportive all throughout the journey. Driver Ratheesh was also amazing. He was able to adjust with our schedules. The only recommendation is that hotel facilities could be improved. The facilities n the food provided was bit below the expectations. Overall memorable journey.

Rahul from Explore Travels was very helpful. There were few issues with the hotels but he resolved it immediately. Driver Praveen was very rude and was not informative at all. In Munnar, my kids were having nausea due to mountain roads and he made us clean his car by water and tissues multiple times and he was not ready to open the windows saying that I am a full time AC driver and we should have selected non AC driver. In Kanyakumari he just left us at one place and said to ask the local people to guide us the places to visit. He did not guide us anything about Kerela as it was our first trip to Kerela. Due to kids we skipped many places, instead asked him to take us to market for shopping but he denied in Munnar as well as in Trivandrum. However we enjoyed our trip. Alleppy houseboat experience was very good. Apart from Driver every thing was amazing. Recommend Explore travels for future trips. Rahul from Explore Travels was very helpful. I had booked a package through TravelTriangle agent namely Comfort Destinations (CD). But the experience with CD was poor. 1. CD missed to timely close all points from his end; therefore, the driver in Kerala miscommunicated with us and demanded extra cash for moving any further in Kochi. The final itinerary planned for my travel was not communicated to the driver; therefore the driver asked for extra cash for taking us to any sightseeing in Cochin. 2. I had requested several times in writing that we require only a Premium Houseboat in Alleppey backwater. But CD offered me a Deluxe Houseboat with AC installed therein (and informed me that the Deluxe Houseboat with AC is called as Premium Houseboat). Though we paid for Premium House but CD made us to stay in Deluxe houseboat. This houseboat had many other issues also like - (i) we were not given any AC remote to control room temperature, (ii) Power sockets in the room were broken and were risky, (iii) Fans in both rooms were noise because fans' bearings were broken inside.
