How To Reach Mehrangarh Fort

Perhaps the largest attraction for those visiting the Sun City, Mehrangarh fort offers a wealth of knowledge about the ruling family of the fort as well as the history of their once proud kingdom. The walls of Mehrangarh fort are said to be blessed by Shri Karni Mata and the fact that the fort belongs to its owners is celebrated by the locals and attributed to said blessings. Barring all of these very interesting things, Mehrangarh also boasts of a very informative and complete museum. All this and more makes Mehrangarh fort a must visit in Jodhpur which is only helped by how easily accessible it is.

Jodhpur is one of India and Rajasthan’s most beautiful cities and also one of India’s most frequently visited tourist destinations. As such, it is connected by air, train, and road to almost all of India’s major cities. The most surefire way of reaching Mehrangarh fort is by taking an auto rickshaw or cab after deciding the price beforehand. However, this can be a little expensive an option and if it cannot be exercised then Mehrangarh fort can also be reached by one of the city buses but these have a very low frequency in Jodhpur. Overall experience was good except hotel jaisal inn in Jaisalmer not good. Their staff and amenities not as expected. Staff is not so welcoming. Cab driver Dara singh ji very humble and soft spoken. Asran is all tym connected and available. Must stay the balam hotel in jodhpur. There staff so good

We had a great experience with this trip but the hotels provided in Udaipur and Jodhpur were outside the city wherein nothing was available in the surroundings. The hotel provided in Jodhpur was not an experience for us. Other than these, everything else was well organized and co ordinated.

We booked a 6 days and 5 nights trip to Rajasthan from MY OWN JOURNEY Except on day 1 , Hotels provided are good enough room size are big However for rest of the days there was no confirmation from travel agent which hotel to stay. Note: we booked the package almost 3 months prior to trip. Still on

travel day there was no assurance where we will be staying. TRAVEL AGENT SHOULD HAVE PROVIDE CONFIRMATION IN ADVANCE Otherwise hotel stay was good. Vehicle / driver - vehicle we hot is clean and in very good condition. However I felt the driver little bit arrogant In one instance, he refused to dropped us at restaurants for dinner and we have few seniors citizens with us moreover the restaurant was hardly within 1km range So that thing I didn't like. Overall the trip went well Thanks My Own Journey team.
