How to Reach Kaylana Lake in Jodhpur

Enjoy a scenic boat ride across the Kaylana Lake that lies about 8 kilometres to the west of Jodhpur. This manmade lake is also perfect for birdwatching enthusiasts as you will get to see a number of Siberian Cranes here during the winter season. You can also trek to Shiv Mandir that is located in one of the hills surrounding this lake. The best time to visit this lake is from October to March when the weather is cold and enjoyable and perfect for boat rides and sightseeing tours.

You can travel by bus from any city to the Main Jodhpur Bus Stand, from where the Kaylana Lake is just about 9 kilometres away. Even the railway station is just about 10 kilometers away. Next, after taking the roundabout, drive past the Jeevan Jyoti Nursing Home and then take a right after 4 kilometers to reach this gorgeous lake.

The best thing happened is the drivers in the jodpur, who resolved the messed up plan by the travel agent. Hotel Sia Resorts changed and we have been changed to different resort,which was older property. The daywise plan made by the travel agent was absurd and created lot of confusion.
