Aldabra Atoll in Seychelles is one of those places on the globe which has remained virtually untouched by humankind. The tourism here is limited by the Seychelles Islands Foundation. The Aldabra Atoll primarily acts as the breeding ground for the critically endangered Hawksbill turtles and endangered Green turtles. However, there are not just turtles that one can find on this atoll. There is a plethora of other species as well on the atoll-like the hammerhead sharks, the coconut crab- the largest crab in the world, manta rays and the barracuda. One of the most interesting facts about this place is that the food chain on these islands is unusually topped by a herbivore- the giant tortoise. The flora has evolved according to the grazing patterns of the fauna present in the Aldabra Atoll in Seychelles.
